  • High tea from Raffles Hotel Singapore

Afternoon tea in Singapore has had a serious glow-up. What was once a dainty affair of finger sandwiches and polite sips has evolved into a full-blown social sport—think sky-high hotel lounges, patisserie-level desserts, and tea menus that read like wine lists. Whether you’re in it for scones with proper clotted cream, a champagne upgrade (no judgement), or a themed set that’s almost too pretty to eat, this city does high tea very, very well.

From heritage hotels serving timeless classics to modern lounges reinventing the ritual with local flavours and fashion-forward flair, Singapore’s best high teas are made for long afternoons and camera-roll damage. Ideal for celebrations, catch-ups, or a solo treat-yourself moment, these are the afternoon teas worth clearing your calendar for.

Madison’s

If your idea of high tea involves your besties, a pink-on-pink colour palette and a cheeky beauty freebie, Madison’s x NUXE Love in Pink Afternoon Tea is very much your scene. Running from 15 January to 28 February 2026, this Galentine’s-ready collaboration leans fully into rosy indulgence, with savoury and sweet bites tinted blush and spiked with playful notes of rose, menthol and chilli. Expect savouries like beet and gin-cured salmon with dill mayo, chilli garlic prawns in pie tee shells, bresaola brioche with pickled red cabbage, and smoked duck crostini finished with dried rose petals.

Desserts keep things flirty, spanning strawberry mint balls, spicy chilli brownies, mint macarons, yuzu honey mousse, apple crumble and assorted chocolate pralines, alongside classic raisin scones. Every set comes with two curated NUXE Happy in Pink gift sets (yes, you’re leaving with skincare!) and selected dates also feature complimentary beauty masterclasses. It’s high tea with a glow-up built in.

Lobby Lounge

Nostalgia takes centre stage at The Westin Singapore’s Lobby Lounge with Once Upon a Tea Time with White Rabbit, launching from 12 January 2026. Set on Level 32 with sweeping Marina Bay views, this afternoon tea turns the iconic White Rabbit candy into a surprisingly elegant affair. Expect playful yet polished takes on familiar flavours, including a baked vanilla White Rabbit milk egg tart, silky White Rabbit milk pudding, red bean candy financier, and rabbit-shaped White Rabbit milk scones paired with whipped cream infused with White Rabbit milk and matcha candy. Savouries keep things indulgent, too, with highlights like baked spiny lobster crowned with creamy mentaiko mayonnaise.

Each set includes a cup of White Rabbit milk tea alongside free-flow coffee and tea, plus a platter of assorted White Rabbit candies to round things off. There’s also a lucky draw element featuring themed collectibles and hotel experiences, making this one especially fun for Lunar New Year catch-ups with a side of childhood memories.

Strawberry season gets a very polished glow-up at Lobby Lounge with The Strawberry Edit, running from 7 January to 5 April 2026. This one’s for the crowd that likes their afternoon tea thoughtful, a little theatrical, and anchored in a single star ingredient. On weekdays, it’s a classic tiered affair done with chefy finesse. Think jamon croquettes finished with strawberry veil, royal custard with clams and thyme–strawberry oil, and steamed chicken dumplings lifted with ginger, chilli and strawberry soy. Desserts lean playful but precise, spanning Sicilian pistachio with Korean strawberries, Hokkaido strawberry cheesecake with sakura jelly, hojicha sponge layered with strawberry compote, and a strawberry–mint number on almond sablé. There’s even a tableside strawberry trifle moment, plus freshly baked plain and strawberry scones with clotted cream and wild strawberry jam.

Weekends loosen the tie slightly, expanding into a buffet-style spread that folds in roasts, Golden Peony-inspired dim sum, and local comfort hits like laksa and Hainanese chicken rice—before circling back to a generous line-up of strawberry-led desserts and a tableside strawberry mint sorbet. Both formats include free-flow TWG tea and Bacha coffee, with optional gin and tonic upgrades. Served beneath the Lobby Lounge’s iconic gold-leaf ceiling, this is afternoon tea with just enough drama to justify dressing up.

Expect sweet highlights like the Mini Coconut Mango Mousse Cake, Raspberry Rose Swan Choux, Pineapple Cream Cheese Gâteau, and a Yuzu Chocolate Sea Shell, alongside savoury bites including Mini Turkey Ham Tartlets, Beet and Honey Cream Cheese Tartlets, and Smoked Salmon and Fish Roe Sandwiches. ANTI:DOTE at Fairmont Singapore

Level 1, Fairmont Singapore, 80 Bras Basah Road

High tea just got its museum-core moment. From now till 31 January 2026, ANTI:DOTE is serving an afternoon tea so art-soaked it might as well come with its own audio guide. In partnership with National Gallery Singapore and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the bar has crafted an Impressionism-inspired menu celebrating Into the Modern, the region’s largest exhibition of French Impressionism, featuring works by Monet, Renoir, Cézanne, Degas and more, many of which have never been shown in Singapore before. The result is a culinary homage to light, colour and emotion, interpreted through a thoroughly modern Fairmont lens.

Executive Pastry Chef Yong Ming Choong and Junior Sous Chef Ong Sze Ling take the lead here, weaving brushstroke energy into each plate. Savouries lean artistic: Forest Mushroom Mousse with winter truffle channels Pissarro’s pastoral quiet; Smoked Salmon Rillette glimmers like Monet’s coastal light; Boston Lobster with lemon confit and caviar brings Toulouse-Lautrec’s bold flair to the table; and a Foie Gras Terrine with roasted orange gel becomes a Cézanne-coded still life you’ll happily ruin by eating. Then come the sweets, a Morisot-inspired strawberry confit tea cake, a Renoir-printed blackberry ganache, an edible “Grainstack” choux, and an entire gallery of desserts that swing between playful and poetic. Even the scones show up dressed for the occasion.

Drinks keep the theme alive, with Head Mixologist Edu Zamora’s Liquid Abstract and Impressionist Fizz riffing on colour, haze, clarity and movement. Prices start at $78 per adult (with one non-alcoholic drink), $39 per child, and cocktails at $22. From 1 to 31 January, the afternoon tea will see a reduced price of $68 per adult and $34 per child (6-12 years).
