Mandai Wildlife Reserve Has Welcomed Hundreds Of Adorable New Arrivals
If you need a piece of genuinely good news to break up your feed, allow us to point you towards Mandai Wildlife Reserve, where baby season has been in full swing. Across Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Wonders, Bird Paradise and Rainforest Wild Asia, hundreds of tiny new arrivals have quietly been growing, wobbling, waddling and generally melting hearts all over the parks.
The newest additions span everything from wide-eyed primates and stripe-perfect zebra foals to delicate reptile hatchlings and fluffy bird chicks finding their wings. Some are especially rare (including critically endangered langurs, leopard geckos and deer species) while others mark exciting firsts for the parks, with several species successfully breeding and hatching for the very first time.

Behind all the cuteness is some seriously meaningful work. Mandai Wildlife Reserve works closely with global conservation and breeding programmes to help maintain healthy, sustainable animal populations, while supporting conservation efforts beyond Singapore. Each new arrival represents years of planning, careful husbandry and round-the-clock dedication from the keepers who care for them—so yes, they’re adorable, but they’re also a very big deal.
There’s plenty to spot if you visit. At Singapore Zoo, serval kittens are sticking close to mum, primates are bouncing through the trees, and endangered zebra foals are finding their footing. Night Safari has welcomed rare pups and fawns now exploring their habitats after dark, while River Wonders is home to new manatee calves and shimmering schools of baby fish. Over at Bird Paradise, penguin chicks are being doted on by devoted parents, flamingo youngsters are learning the art of the strut, and rare birds are hitting milestones few zoos around the world ever see.
If you’re planning a family day out, a wholesome weekend wander or just need a real-life serotonin boost, this is your sign. A visit to Mandai Wildlife Reserve doesn’t just deliver peak feel-good energy it also supports the care and protection of the animals who call it home.
