Pop City x Pony: Singapore’s Bold New Cocktail Playground

Jigger & Pony Group, the award-winning hospitality powerhouse behind Jigger & Pony (No. 3 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025 and No. 9 in The World’s 50 Best Bars 2025), Live Twice, and Cosmo Pony in Jakarta, is launching POP CITY X PONY. Opening at 19 Cecil Street, this vibrant cocktail-first concept in collaboration with the House of Suntory promises a bold mix of creativity, community, and craft. It’s more than just a bar, it’s a cultural playground where cocktails, conversation, and discovery collide.

Japanese Craft Meets City Energy

Designed by Peter Sillings & Associates, POP CITY X PONY fuses Japanese artistry with cosmopolitan energy, drawing inspiration from music, fashion, and the subcultures of modern Japan. The name itself nods to 1980s City Pop music, the soundtrack of optimism, while X Pony ties the experience back to Jigger & Pony Group’s ethos of community and conviviality. “We wanted to create a space where people can express themselves freely while discovering the craftsmanship and traditions that shape Japanese bartending,” says Aki Eguchi, Bar Programme Director.

Opening And Bookings

POP CITY X PONY is set to open on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, with bookings opening two weeks prior. This launch marks an exciting new chapter for Jigger & Pony Group as they continue to redefine Singapore’s cocktail scene, creating spaces where craft, culture, and community meet.
