Singapore’s dining scene has once again proven it can hold its own among Asia’s culinary heavyweights, with four local restaurants landing on the extended Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2026 list. The newly released 51–100 ranking (revealed ahead of the main awards ceremony in Hong Kong later this month) shines a spotlight on some of the region’s most exciting dining destinations, and Singapore has plenty to celebrate this year.

Leading the charge for Singapore is modern Indian restaurant Thevar, which climbs to No.58 after jumping 12 places from last year’s ranking (one of the biggest rises on the list). Known for its bold, progressive take on Indian flavours, chef Mano Thevar’s restaurant continues to draw crowds with creative tasting menus that blend South Indian heritage with modern techniques.

Joining it on the list is cult-favourite barbecue hotspot Burnt Ends, which lands at No.59. The restaurant has built a loyal following for its signature wood-fired cooking and smoky, flavour-packed dishes that keep diners coming back for more.

Also flying the Singapore flag is contemporary French-Japanese restaurant Meta, ranked at No.77. Helmed by chef Sun Kim, the restaurant is known for its refined tasting menus that fuse French techniques with Korean influences and Japanese precision.

Rounding out the local contingent is Peach Blossoms, which returns to the extended ranking at No.78. Located at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, the restaurant has earned a reputation for its elegant modern Cantonese cuisine and beautifully presented dishes.

The extended list is voted on by the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants Academy, a panel of more than 350 chefs, restaurateurs, food writers and industry experts from across the region. The full Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2026 ranking will be revealed at a live awards ceremony in Hong Kong on 25 March.

If this early reveal is anything to go by, Singapore’s restaurants are firmly in the mix and we’ll be watching closely to see how many make the final top 50.
