The days are heating up, the afternoons are stretching out, and you know what that means: beer garden season is officially back. And what’s better than a cold one with your mates? Enter BrewDog. These craft brewers have called Australia home since 2019, with two epic Brisbane spots slinging locally brewed craft beers, delicious eats and good vibes. If you haven’t been yet, consider this your sign, people, the forecast is all sunshine with a 100% chance of beers.

The Venues

One bar in Brisbane isn’t enough, so BrewDog has two epic spots for you to check out.

DogTap

77 Metroplex Avenue, Murarrie, QLD 4172

The OG DogTap Brisbane sits riverside at Murarrie with stunning views, where 28 taps pour the freshest craft beers brewed just metres away in their Queensland brewery. Sip your way through pale ales, XPA, IPA, stouts, ciders, their iconic Brown Snake Ginger Beer and even hard lemonade for non-beer drinkers. Pull up a seat on the patio and settle in for spring days that roll into balmy nights.

If you're looking for a side of entertainment with your schooner, or just a banging mid-week deal, start your week with 2-for-1 pizzas on Mondays, then flex your brain at Tuesday trivia from 7pm. Wednesdays are all-you-can-eat wings—chicken or cauliflower, take your pick—while Thursdays bring Parmy & Pint for $30. Fridays? Steak and fries for $30 sets the weekend right. Sundays are made for the little ones, with Sunday Funday from 1–4pm featuring pirates, fairies and games.

They're also rolling out all the stops for King's Birthday weekend, with live sport broadcast their massive outdoor screen across the four days. Lock in for the NRL Grand Final marathon on Friday night, back it up with The Bledisloe Cup on Saturday, and then start your Sunday morning right with the Big Premier League Breakfast for soccer fans. Still not satiated? Get around the NRL Grand final action on Sunday, and recover with brunch on Monday with the NFL and a side of fried chicken, waffles and Bloody Marys.

Fortitude Valley

235 Brunswick St, Fortitude Valley QLD 4006

Closer to the CBD, on Brunswick Street, you’ll find BrewDog Fortitude Valley (literally steps from the train). Housed in a heritage-listed beauty with 20 taps across three levels, it’s pure craft-beer paradise. Plus, the beers are all brewed right on-site. Feeling competitive? Hit the shuffleboard or throw it back old-school with their pinball machines.

Thursday to Sunday, the beer hall is the place to be. Game day? Feast on wings and cheer on your team with the $60 sports package. Stand-up comedy hits the stage every second Thursday, and weekly treats include 2-for-1 pizzas on Mondays, Tuesday trivia, all-you-can wings on Wednesdays, and $30 Parmy & Pint Thursdays. Sundays wrap up with a classic Sunday roast for $29.95, free pool on Sunday and Monday, and students score 25% off with ID.

The Eats

Pro tip: arrive hungry. BrewDog isn’t just about epic sips; their elevated pub grub menus are stacked with total rippers. We’re talking hand-stretched pizzas (the Three Little Pigs is non-negotiable), Irish-style spice bags, zingy tacos, towering burgers (plant-based or meaty), fresh salads, and our personal fave: loaded fries, smothered in everything from truffle cheese to Korean BBQ chicken.

Dessert fiends, don’t tap out. think deep-fried Oreos with chocolate dipping sauce or gooey chocolate brownie with toffee ice cream.

Off the back of their much-loved Sunday roasts, DogTap now serves brekky from 8am, with their take on the full English, Scottish or Irish fry-up, ready to fuel you up. Think house-made sausages, potato farls and all the UK classics.

Over at BrewDog Fortitude Valley, you’ll find the same top-tier main menu, covering gluten-friendly, vegan and vegetarian eats, so no one misses out. Drop in Monday to Thursday, 11am–3pm, and score lunch for just $15 (rump steak and fries, chicken parmy, burgers and pizza) and epic schooner deals to match. Got little ones in tow? Both venues dish up a kid-approved menu too.

The Community

We don’t want to get all soppy on you, but BrewDog isn’t just a pub, it’s a place where the community can connect. It’s where you and your crew can plug in, hang out, or straight-up party.

Case in point: ever wished your office was in a brewery? BrewDog’s Hot Desk with Desk Dog makes it happen. For just $15, you can set up shop with free WiFi, unlimited coffee and tea, plus a knock-off schooner included in the price. Work? Sorted.

But our fave perk? The Pawsome Pawty at DogTap. Every Thursday, your doggo can celebrate their birthday with a barkuterie board and their four-legged mates in tow. Yep, it’s basically the ultimate pup pub party.

Over in Mararrie, DogTap is a fan favourite with families, with its laid-back vibe, river views and secure outdoor playground for little legends to run wild.
