One of the newest health kids on the block, Pantree Wholefoods, is an organic wholefood grocer nestled in Buddina you need to add to your hit-list. Pantree is a small family-owned business grown from a passion for sustainable, waste-free living, and you sure can taste the love. 

When thinking of the finest Sunshine Coast restaurants, Noosa pops to the top of many minds. With the picturesque Noosa River just metres from dining hotspots, easy access to local produce, and an ever-bustling atmosphere, it’s easy to see why patrons flock to Noosa.

When it comes to opening stellar restaurants on the Sunshine Coast, it’s undeniable that the Tony Kelly Restaurant Group has the Midas touch. When the founder of Sunshine Coast cult-favourite cafe VanillaFood opens a new joint, you expect it to be damn good. Nilla’s Pantry certainly does not disappoint. 

Everyone knows that the booziest nights start at the classiest establishments, and that is exactly what new cocktail bar on the block, Miyako Lounge, is . Conveniently located on the end of Ocean Street, Miyako is the fresh face of Drunken Dumpling and brings plenty of Asian-inspired cocktails to their menu, like their oh-so-boozy share teapots, as well as all your classics. Helloooo espresso martinis.

Nestled on two hectares in the scenic Noosa hinterland, The Doonan is a sprawling garden-themed venue boasting indoor and outdoor dining, multiple beer gardens, bars, a pizzeria, ice creamery, kids playground, cellar door and multiple function spaces. Yes, it’s huge. 

If there is not a pizza place to be missed here on the Sunshine Coast we think it’s Goodslice Pizza Napoletana. As their name suggests, they are all about the pizza and it’s clear to see they mean business. Their bases are in-house made and fermented for a minimum of 24 hours. This creates the perfect light and minimal yeast blend crust—we think we’ve found what our pizza dreams are made of. Goodslice’s divine pizza bases are then hand-stretched and topped with quality local and Italian imported ingredients before being cooked to perfection at a scorching 400 degrees. 

If you’re looking for somewhere to impress and haven’t cruised by the casual fine-dining experience that is SOKA, formerly Chako, we are officially here to tell you to hesitate no more. 

We’ve been lured in with the delicious promise of soju and the hot sizzle of our favourite meats and couldn’t be happier about it. A sister restaurant to one of our favourite Japanese spots, SOKA, Jango Korean BBQ can be found at Kawana Shopping World. Jango’s modern and minimalistic Korean atmosphere is set to offer not only premium quality meat, but some of the tastiest traditional dishes that we know you’ll have on repeat. 

Mr. Drifter is your new Noosa Junction local and we’ll tell you why. With a space warm and cosy enough to be your new date night hot spot, yet cool and sleek enough for live music on a Saturday night, this Asian street food bar serves in all areas. The bar is built with rustic timber walls, exposed brick and is decked out with vintage postcards and Little Golden book-style menus. We love the modern twist on an slightly tiki-style theme. 

When you think of a gourmet dining experience, Australia Zoo probably isn’t the first place that comes to mind, but that has all changed with the opening of Warrior Restaurant and Bar. Australia Zoo’s slick new restaurant which showcases native flavours, with the restaurant’s world-class culinary team aiming to ‘place the taste of Australia’ on your plate. 

WAT Den is an elegant new destination whisky and tequila bar, located in the bustling heart of Mooloolaba Esplanade, unique to the Sunshine Coast with a signature cigar lounge theme. Intentionally a small bar seating 40 to 60 patrons, the high-end bar is headed up by a Melbourne husband and wife hospitality duo who are passionate about providing premium and hard-to-get whisky and tequila brands. 

The second venue from the much-loved Your Mates Brewing Co. crew, Your Mates BowlsPub is turning the notion of the traditional bowls club on its head and majorly leveling it up with cracking craft brews, barefoot bowls, lawn games, top-notch food and the lively entertainment that Your Mates is known for. This is not a bowlo as you know it. 

Just when we thought the Noosa bar scene couldn't get much better, a stunning European-style aperitif and wine bar opens up. Say hello to Apéro Wine Bar, an elegant Noosaville bar which pays homage to the European tradition of meeting friends for an aperitif with an extensive international wine list and bites menu. The sleek venue draws passerbys off the Noosa River boardwalk into a richly decorated space with earthy tones of desert red and eucalyptus green.

Bringing a welcome breath of fresh air to the Sunshine Coast hinterland, Catbird Restaurant has to be on your must-visit restaurant list. Located on nine acres of botanical gardens in the picturesque Fairhill Native Botanic Gardens, Catbird Restaurant is serving up top-notch modern Australian cuisine with a focus on locally-sourced produce.

Sure, we all love a good roast chicken, but it hits different when it’s roasted over a flame rotisserie, sourced from local farmers and cooked using family recipes. Let us introduce you to JD’s Chicken Co.

‘Buderim’ is a word in the Kabi Kabi language that means ‘honeysuckle’, which is where owner Seung Joo Kim got his inspiration for the stunning restaurant. There isn’t a restaurant like it in Buderim, offering refined Yumcha share-style meals at incredibly affordable prices.

Bringing a breath of fresh air to Eumundi, BASK Eumundi is one of the Sunshine Coast’s newest restaurants which boasts a strong ethos of celebrating local produce through creative culinary flair. Designed for long, lazy lunches in the sunshine, take it slow at BASK, let the afternoon pass you by and your afternoon lunch turn into dinner plans so you have a chance to linger and soak up the gorgeous ambience. 

There’s something about a toasted sandwich that hits different. Say hello to The Toast Office, which is a culinary trailblazer changing the sandwich scene on the Sunshine Coast.

Cheekily named after it's prime location 'just outside the village square', Outer Square is one of Peregian Beach's best new cafes and we can't get enough of it. Designed to emulate modern European elegance, Outer Square boasts a sleek fit-out, state-of-the-art kitchen and dark, moody tones. In simple terms? It's so Instagrammable.

After the iconic, family-owned Lucio’s in Paddington closed in 2021 after 40 years of operation, the Galletto’s family search for a new home brought them across the border to the Sunshine Coast. Translated as ‘white’ or ‘sunrise’, ALBA embodies the true essence of Noosa—it’s light, it’s breezy, it’s refined and it perfectly encapsulates the natural elements of its coastal surrounds. The dreamy space boasts a cafe, providore, pizzeria and a laid cocktail back bar which transforms into a stylish restaurant as the sun sets. ALBA by Kuruvita pays homage to the abundant Sunshine Coast produce, with premium local ingredients and global flavours taking centre stage. 

Tucked away in Peregian Beach, at the edge of a little village square, Pitchfork’s food wouldn’t be out of place in any of Sydney or Melbourne’s top restaurants and we're certainly lucky to have them bless our forks on the Sunshine Coast.

Northern Rivers crew, rejoice: acclaimed chef-owner Jessi Singh just opened his “unauthentic Indian” restaurant Daughter in Law on Fletcher Street in Byron this June and it’s about to take you on a very flavourful ride.

The Nautical is a new venue that focuses on local and seasonal products and produce—dishes are sourced as locally as possible from nearby farms and fisheries and all their beers come from Sunshine Coast breweries, which means we’re big fans already. Even the cocktails feature locally-distilled spirits and the wine list features loads of Aussie wines you’ll want to sample ASAP.

Meet Humble on Duke, the intimate—and yes, humble—14-seater restaurant that has already set tongues wagging in the Sunny Coast hospitality scene with its delicious cuisine, creative twists and genuine passion for dishing up good, honest food.

When the carb craving hits, you’ll want to get yourself to Maroochydore’s Goodslice, stat. The quirky BYO joint-slash-food-truck is tucked away at 48 Aerodrome Rd, and slings deliciously authentic neapolitan pizzas from Thursday to Saturday.

Somedays Pizza is the creation of Nathan Ramsay and Shane Newton; two guys who know hospitality’s ropes well and wanted to inject something a little different into the Sunshine Coast’s pizza scene. 

A super-cute and tiny gelato bar has rolled into the Sunshine Coast and is up for hire for weddings, birthdays or anything else you can dream up. Meaning you could possibly be everyone’s favourite person if you get Hello Gelato to show up to your shindig.  

You’ll find FISH Parkridge in the newly-built, resort-style neighbourhood of the same name (Parkridge), a short drive from Noosa Main Beach. You'd be hard-pressed to spot this hidden gem, unless you have your GPS directing and your stomach begging to hunt this destination down. 

A corner store with a little more is the concept behind The Grounds Providore in Parkridge Noosa. Located next to the delectable seafood restaurant FISH, this little one-stop shop stocks a variety of foods and goods for local residents and holidaymakers staying in the new resort-style development. 

Brunch just got a tad more exciting on the Sunshine Coast with the re-opening of Eumundi’s Bohemian Bungalow. 

Craving authentic, housemade pasta is a common occurrence, so when the next bout hits, head to Coolum Beach and check out Mr Mancino.

Ours. Cafe & Goods is a new vegetarian and vegan eatery in Moffat Beach that you need to put on your radar.

Tucked in Yandina, Bar Deco is a Belgian beer and wine garden, and is a welcome contradiction to the Sunshine Coast’s bright, light and beachy restaurant scene we’ve come to know and love. 

Tucked along Hastings Street, O-Ren is somewhat of a hidden gem among the best restaurants in Noosa. 

Fresh and tasty, with just the right amount of spice, welcome to Mr Drifter, a Noosa restaurant you might not know about yet. 

Peaky Blinders fans, eat your heart out; the Sunshine Coast has a new cafe and it’s totally up your alley. 

Sprouting in the rural landscape of North Arm (in between Yandina and Eumundi), Terella Brewing is the sustainable farm-style brewery you need to know about. 

A weekend without coffee is barely even a weekend. So, take a break from your regular morning coffee joint and head to Cotton Tree, more specifically Wynd Espresso.

Found in a little black shed on Wises Road in Maroochydore this new independent local roastery is an extension of the one of the best cafes on the Sunshine Coast, The Colombian Coffee Co.

Burger powerhouse Ze Pickle, famed for dishing up jam-packed buns in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast, has sprung up on the Sunshine Coast and you haven’t seen anything like it.

The Noosa Chocolate Factory produces delectable treats made from a combination of local ingredients and international sources, and their Maroochydore store is the place to try them all. 

If you are after authentic German food and an amazing selection of beers, you need to head over to The Bavarian. A Sunshine Coast favourite, this is a great place to get together with a group of friends. 

Dining at 250 Grammi is reminiscent of an indulgent Sunday lunch in Naples, digging into generous servings and passing the plates around… it’s all about a shared dining experience.

Sitting pretty in Cotton Tree, if you haven’t visited Glass Coffee House and Wine Bar, it’s time to pick up your act. Super chilled vibes, a friendly crew and some of the best food you can poke your fork at, this has got to be one of the best cafes on the Sunshine Coast.
