The Sunshine Coast dining scene has just levelled up with the highly-anticipated opening of Bli Bli Hotel. The $32 million modern bistro and bar swung open its doors on Monday 30 October, and it's safe to say it's seriously stunning. The three-level, Mediterranean-inspired venue stars a rooftop terrace and a lush tropical garden-style events space.
Each of the three sprawlings levels have a distinct identity that has been carefully crafted to cater for all guests. In addition to the show-stopping rooftop terrace and events space, Bli Bli Hotel features a kids’ play area adjacent to the bistro, a vibrant sports bar and a dedicated gaming lounge and bar.
Within the bistro, high ceilings, terracotta and sage hues and hand-printed Australian bush wallpaper create an inviting setting, adjoining the rooftop terrace. Design elements evoke the Australian bush and Mediterranean charm, highlighted by an impressive four-meter pink blossom tree next to a private dining area that can host up to 200 guests, perfect for those special occasions.
Bli Bli Hotel boasts an eclectic style menu, with a focus on lighter, vegetable forward options to suit the modern Australian life. The kitchen’s centre piece is a live-fire grill, adding an elevated twist to the classic pub fare and setting Bli Bli Hotel above the traditional pub offering.
Bli Bli Hotel is the brainchild of Scott Armstrong, Richard Deery, and their families, known for hospitality ventures in South-East Queensland. This innovative establishment adds to their suite of Sunshine Coast pubs which currently includes Baringa Tavern, Parklands Tavern, Brightwater Hotel, and Story Bridge Hotel.
Scott Armstrong is delighted to bring the venue to life in partnership with the Deery family, owners of the iconic Story Bridge Hotel and the Woodford Hotel.
