This is anything but your average farm. Set across 30 acres, Alsahwa Estate is Sunshine Coast’s stunning new farm-to-plate experience with a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant designed to have you savouring the moment. 

Tucked amongst landscaped gardens, palm trees, and wildflowers only five minutes from Palmwoods, the restaurant is an ode to food, nature and community—marking phase one of the overall vision for the bold regenerative agritourism destination. It’s also led by hatted local chef Sophie Phipps (formerly Spice Bar), who has crafted a thoughtful menu that celebrates fresh, seasonal ingredients—with many grown and harvested onsite across Alsahwa’s organic gardens or sourced from nearby producers. 

“The restaurant is a reflection of our values—to treat lightly on the earth, support our community, and nourish our guests with food grown in healthy soil,” said Phipps. “We’re cooking with intention and with produce that speaks for itself.” 

The seasonal and produce-driven offering extends over breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with room for flexibility to reflect what’s fresh. Alsahwa Estate balances elegant simplicity with inventive touches in small plates, conscious mains, and artisan antipasto. Here, everything is made to be shared—from the focaccia baked camembert with an orchard compote to the Maryland chicken served with pumpkin saffron cheesecake and capsicum marmalade—to create a memorable meal rooted in meaningful connection.
