If there is not a pizza place to be missed here on the Sunshine Coast we think it’s Goodslice Pizza Napoletana. As their name suggests, they are all about the pizza and it’s clear to see they mean business. Their bases are in-house made and fermented for a minimum of 24 hours. This creates the perfect light and minimal yeast blend crust—we think we’ve found what our pizza dreams are made of. Goodslice’s divine pizza bases are then hand-stretched and topped with quality local and Italian imported ingredients before being cooked to perfection at a scorching 400 degrees. 

If you’re looking for somewhere to impress and haven’t cruised by the casual fine-dining experience that is SOKA, formerly Chako, we are officially here to tell you to hesitate no more. 

We’ve been lured in with the delicious promise of soju and the hot sizzle of our favourite meats and couldn’t be happier about it. A sister restaurant to one of our favourite Japanese spots, SOKA, Jango Korean BBQ can be found at Kawana Shopping World. Jango’s modern and minimalistic Korean atmosphere is set to offer not only premium quality meat, but some of the tastiest traditional dishes that we know you’ll have on repeat. 

Mr. Drifter is your new Noosa Junction local and we’ll tell you why. With a space warm and cosy enough to be your new date night hot spot, yet cool and sleek enough for live music on a Saturday night, this Asian street food bar serves in all areas. The bar is built with rustic timber walls, exposed brick and is decked out with vintage postcards and Little Golden book-style menus. We love the modern twist on an slightly tiki-style theme. 

When you think of a gourmet dining experience, Australia Zoo probably isn’t the first place that comes to mind, but that has all changed with the opening of Warrior Restaurant and Bar. Australia Zoo’s slick new restaurant which showcases native flavours, with the restaurant’s world-class culinary team aiming to ‘place the taste of Australia’ on your plate. 

Bringing a welcome breath of fresh air to the Sunshine Coast hinterland, Catbird Restaurant has to be on your must-visit restaurant list. Located on nine acres of botanical gardens in the picturesque Fairhill Native Botanic Gardens, Catbird Restaurant is serving up top-notch modern Australian cuisine with a focus on locally-sourced produce.

Sure, we all love a good roast chicken, but it hits different when it’s roasted over a flame rotisserie, sourced from local farmers and cooked using family recipes. Let us introduce you to JD’s Chicken Co.

‘Buderim’ is a word in the Kabi Kabi language that means ‘honeysuckle’, which is where owner Seung Joo Kim got his inspiration for the stunning restaurant. There isn’t a restaurant like it in Buderim, offering refined Yumcha share-style meals at incredibly affordable prices.

After the iconic, family-owned Lucio’s in Paddington closed in 2021 after 40 years of operation, the Galletto’s family search for a new home brought them across the border to the Sunshine Coast. Lucio’s Marina continues a seventy-year legacy of family, food and hospitality in the heart of Noosa, with a new generation at the helm, but still incorporating intimate details from the Lucio’s of old.

They say good things come to those who wait and Pavilion Mooloolaba is certainly proving them right. Perhaps one of the most hotly anticipated venue openings of 2021, we’ve finally snuck a sneak peek inside Pavilion Mooloolaba and we are officially in love.

Translated as ‘white’ or ‘sunrise’, ALBA embodies the true essence of Noosa—it’s light, it’s breezy, it’s refined and it perfectly encapsulates the natural elements of its coastal surrounds. The dreamy space boasts a cafe, providore, pizzeria and a laid cocktail back bar which transforms into a stylish restaurant as the sun sets. ALBA by Kuruvita pays homage to the abundant Sunshine Coast produce, with premium local ingredients and global flavours taking centre stage. 

Tucked away in Peregian Beach, at the edge of a little village square, Pitchfork’s food wouldn’t be out of place in any of Sydney or Melbourne’s top restaurants and we're certainly lucky to have them bless our forks on the Sunshine Coast.

Northern Rivers crew, rejoice: acclaimed chef-owner Jessi Singh just opened his “unauthentic Indian” restaurant Daughter in Law on Fletcher Street in Byron this June and it’s about to take you on a very flavourful ride.

The Nautical is a new venue that focuses on local and seasonal products and produce—dishes are sourced as locally as possible from nearby farms and fisheries and all their beers come from Sunshine Coast breweries, which means we’re big fans already. Even the cocktails feature locally-distilled spirits and the wine list features loads of Aussie wines you’ll want to sample ASAP.

Colourful, creative, authentic and just the kind of delightful new dining spot we need in our lives right now. Meet Humble on Duke, the intimate—and yes, humble—14-seater restaurant that has already set tongues wagging in the Sunny Coast hospitality scene with its delicious cuisine, creative twists and genuine passion for dishing up good, honest food.

When the carb craving hits, you’ll want to get yourself to Maroochydore’s Goodslice, stat. The quirky BYO joint-slash-food-truck is tucked away at 48 Aerodrome Rd, and slings deliciously authentic neapolitan pizzas from Thursday to Saturday.

When P’Nut’s fresh, fragrant, and fine AF noodles hit the streets of Kawana, it really shook things up for local foodies.

Somedays Pizza is the creation of Nathan Ramsay and Shane Newton; two guys who know hospitality’s ropes well and wanted to inject something a little different into the Sunshine Coast’s pizza scene. 

You’ll find FISH Parkridge in the newly-built, resort-style neighbourhood of the same name (Parkridge), a short drive from Noosa Main Beach. You'd be hard-pressed to spot this hidden gem, unless you have your GPS directing and your stomach begging to hunt this destination down. 

Brunch just got a tad more exciting on the Sunshine Coast with the re-opening of Eumundi’s Bohemian Bungalow. 

Craving authentic, housemade pasta is a common occurrence, so when the next bout hits, head to Coolum Beach and check out Mr Mancino. 

Adding another must-try to the burgeoning list of restaurants and bars at Noosa Junction, Pucca dishes up coastal Indian street food, cooked with European techniques and local produce.

At any time of the day, we take peace knowing it’s gin-o’clock somewhere in the world. But since Pomona Distilling Co. opened, we’ve been wishing it was socially acceptable to be drinking all the gin, all day long.

Tucked in Yandina, Bar Deco is a Belgian beer and wine garden, and is a welcome contradiction to the Sunshine Coast’s bright, light and beachy restaurant scene we’ve come to know and love. 

Tucked along Hastings Street, O-Ren is somewhat of a hidden gem among the best restaurants in Noosa. 

Fresh and tasty, with just the right amount of spice, welcome to Mr Drifter, a Noosa restaurant you might not know about yet. 

Maroochydore just got a whole lot brighter, with famed Tex-Mex joint El Camino Cantina hitting the outdoor dining precinct, Riverwalk, at Sunshine Plaza.

Off the beaten track a little, you’ll find this mammoth watering hole in Birtinya—conveniently between Caloundra and Mooloolaba for the northern players out there. 

Burger powerhouse Ze Pickle, famed for dishing up jam-packed buns in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast, has sprung up on the Sunshine Coast and you haven’t seen anything like it.

If you are after authentic German food and an amazing selection of beers, you need to head over to The Bavarian. A Sunshine Coast favourite, this is a great place to get together with a group of friends. 

Dining at 250 Grammi is reminiscent of an indulgent Sunday lunch in Naples, digging into generous servings and passing the plates around… it’s all about a shared dining experience.

Sitting pretty in Cotton Tree, if you haven’t visited Glass Coffee House and Wine Bar, it’s time to pick up your act. Super chilled vibes, a friendly crew and some of the best food you can poke your fork at, this has got to be one of the best cafes on the Sunshine Coast. 

Neatly nestled inside Mooloolaba’s Wharf precinct, Il Vento is like a little slice of Italy on the Sunshine Coast.

Situated along Duporth Avenue in Maroochydore lies one of the Sunshine Coast's leading asian fusion restaurants, Corbins.

While we love a chicken pad Thai on a lazy Sunday night as much as the next person, sometimes you just can’t beat classic dishes with an innovative twist and that’s exactly what Cotton Tree’s Namory Eatery is slinging six days a week.

This fancy brewery ticks every box for all occasions. Think boozy brunches with the girls, lunch sorted with the boys, or a classy night with your significant other. Boasting slick décor, an Italian menu, top-notch beer and an extended drinks list, say hello to your new favourite Sunshine Coast hangout, Glass House Brewery. 

The Captain’s Daughter is a two-in-one business, meshing a takeaway area that serves seafood to the masses, with a licensed bar and tapas-style eatery. And it’s awesome. 

Spero is the latest venture for renowned Sunshine Coast restaurateur Tony Kelly and his partners, chef Mitch Smith and restaurant manager Elyza Molloy, of Rice Boi fame. 

Fresh, fragrant and fun. When we think of authentic Mexican cuisine these are the first three words that come to mind. 

A no-nonsense local joint that’s onto a very good thing, Hello Harry swoops onto our list of the best burgers on the Sunshine Coast with ease, style, mustard and the lightest buns we’ve ever sunk our teeth into.

Burger love is an actual thing. Sometimes you just crave a juicy sky-high burgs that’s literally dripping down your arms with goodness.

This is definitely the best place in Noosa for people-watching. Aromas seating faces out on to the street, so order a croque monsieur and housemade cold press juice and get your very best judge on. 

Betty’s Burgers have worked up quite the reputation Australia wide. Originating up the road in Noosa, with Maroochydore set to be their next location, the burgers dished out here are pure, unadulterated deliciousness. And don’t even get us started on their concrete AKA custard ice-cream blended with your choice of mix-ins. As with any top notch burger joint, there’s always a favourite, and the pick of the bunch is the Betty’s Classic—a simply satisfying 10-buck burger loaded with an Angus beef pattie, lettuce, onion, tomato, cheese and Betty’s secret special sauce. It’s ridic!

It's a well known fact that Melbs holds the largest Greek population in the world outside of Greece—and yet, us Aussies seemingly spend a lot of time wondering where we can get our next Greek foodie fix. 

Sumi Open Kitchen is an epic new Japanese restaurant that has just opened its doors in the newly reinvigorated Noosa Junction. These guys are all about creating a unique and amazing dining experience where the noms aren't just made from the best quality produce, they're also freakin' delicious. 

Right on the world renowned Noosa Beach, Miss Moneypenny's is the cocktail bar of your dreams. Serving up a diverse range of international standard cocktails and Mediterranean and Middle Eastern Inspired Modern Australian dining, this place has the best of both worlds, a great location and even better food and drinks. Did we mention this is an award winning bar and restaurant? If that hasn't sold you, the amazing vibes and peeps who hang out here will. It's one of Noosa's hidden gems. You won't be disappointed after visiting Miss Moneypenny's. We're in love. 

Tucked away near the much loved Noosa River, this little family owned bar and grill offers diner (and drinkers) a modern and chic foodie experience with a twist. 

Calling all vegans! We think we found your new fave place to eat! Now, this foodie heaven is 100% vegan, from the drinks to the burgers and everything in-between! A lot of people associate vegan as boring but let me tell you, here at MooFree Burgers that is defs not the case. It's delish! Whether you’re hanging for a good ol' burger or in the mood a lil somethin' else like a fresh juice, some sliders or Acai bowl, these lovely people have got covered, whatever craving you might have.  

If we were to make the call, we’d say Mexican and Asian noms are everyone's current obession at the moment on the Sunshine Coast. So we naturally went wild for... Wild Fish. Wild Fish is a Sunshine Beach restaurant that’s doing something a little different. Teaming up with the crew at one of the Coast’s best seafood suppliers, Soulfish, this newbie specialises in serving up the freshest and most sustainable wild caught seafood on the Sunshine Coast. Offering a full menu, a daily market list and a cheap-as-chips bar menu we’re totally peer-pressuring you to get in quick before those balmy weekends bring the crowds.

Tucked away in a beautiful estate in the hills of Montville, The Long Apron restaurant is the dining jewel in the crown of luxurious Spicers Clovelly Estate. Open to the general public, The Long Apron is open to all and is ideal for day-trippers and long-weekenders alike.

This French-Mediterranean restaurant is located right in the middle of the uber cool and relaxed Peregian Beach Square. Serving up only the freshest and locally sourced ingredients; think delicious seafood, hand crafted sourdough breads, char grill beef and seasonal vegetables, you’ll think you’re on an European holiday when you dine here peeps. 

Super plush with all the trimmings, Rickys River Bar + Restaurant is a sleek waterfront establishment that will become the prime reason you and your stomach make the regular pilgrimage to Noosa (if you don’t already live here, that is). It’s a little bit fancy, so ditch the salt-stained denim cut-offs for a crinkle-free dress and whack on a bit of lippy, and you’re all set!

Fellas, if your lady doesn’t mind a bite of rice with something nice tucked inside, Sushi Yah Man is the go for your next date night. Cute décor, good service and lots of outdoor seating for a quiet convo, you really can’t go wrong at one of the best Japanese restaurants on the Sunshine Coast. 

Calling all Ramen lovers. Say sayōnara to instant ramen and too-salty broths, and kon’nichiwa to this cute little hot spot. Local ramen fans have been flocking to this somewhat secret hot spot to grab a bowl of goodness ever since Umami Ramen quietly opened. 

Part of The Wharf redevelopment, The Dock is one of the best restaurants and bars in Mooloolaba. Cleverly divided up into several areas, including function rooms, this Sunshine Coast establishment is home to three bars (we know, right?!) and 52 beer taps pouring 16 different brews.

Saltwater Fish & Chippery, a new gem on the river at Mooloolaba, has got to be the coolest little fish and chippery to descend on our sunny shores in yonks. 

This pan-Asian joint wouldn’t be out of place in the back alleyways of Melbourne, and yet it’s us Sunshine Coasters who are the lucky ones getting to call it ours. 

If you don’t venture to Coolum Beach on the reg, you may not know about Canteen Kitchen & Bar, a stellar 2016 addition to the town’s restaurant line-up.

Mooloolaba Esplanade is home to a tonne of restaurants and cafes, but none are quite like Gainsbourg. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner (Thursday to Sunday), Gainsbourg are pros at creating innovative menus featuring meals that won’t taste like anywhere else you’ve eaten on the Coast.

Nguyen Brothers is the Sunshine Coast's first real-deal, authentic Vietnamese restaurant, opening it's doors in late 2017. 

Bombetta wouldn’t be out of place on Bourke Street (let’s be honest, it’s way too cool for Hastings Street). This little Italian gem is every ounce urban chic, with black subway tiles, high ceilings and polished concrete floors throughout the air-conditioned, split-level venue. We’re low-key obsessed with the copper façade on the wine fridge and genuinely considered stealing the Campari poster to take home with us.

The name doesn’t do justice to this seriously awesome boulangerie. Trust us when we say, Noosa Hot Bread Shop is NOT your standard cake shop—it’s next-level stuff. Pretend like you’re in France and munch on a flakey croissant or devour the best croque monsieur this side of the Left Bank—their sourdough with housemade jam is also a winner. 

Walk through the door of this bustling cafe on Hastings Street and you’ll be greeted with warm smiles, the hum of relaxing tunes and the splendid sight of some incredible food as it is whisked to a table nearby. Seriously though, we challenge you to read through their dishes and not find something you want to try.

Somewhere between an inner-city jazz bookshop and an alleyway saloon in New Orleans, The Piano Bar is where you start your Maroochydore bar crawl. After all, everyone knows the wildest nights start as the classiest, and this place oozes sophistication. Conveniently sitting on Ocean Street, kick off the night with a martini (or three) and make it your mission to chow down on as many tapas as possible—their menu is humungous—just make sure you leave room for a cheeseboard at the end.  

The kings of Asian-style cheap eats on the Sunshine Coast, we have a mild obsession with ANYTHNG from Junk.

Just when you thought you’d tried all the breweries on the Sunshine Coast, another one pops up in a place you’d least expect—and trust us, it’s ahhhhmazing! *swoon*
