The Verdict

Hastings Street can get a bit, okay A LOT, wild when it’s holiday season, so do as the locals to and beeline to the river for waterside dining and the ability to find a park (whoop!).

Sitting on a corner along Gympie Terrace, Sirocco is renowned for being one of the best restaurants in Noosa and has indoor seating as well as a deck complete with river views. Its Middle Eastern/North African-inspired menu makes choosing ridiculously hard, so take the easy option and go for the Tasting Plate—smokey eggplant and goat cheese croquette, piri piri chicken wings, and Hervey Bay half shell seared scallops. We’d also get your peer pressure on, and gently suggest your dining buddy order one of the gourmet pizzas, just so you can have a slice, but shhh.
