The Verdict
Burger love is an actual thing. Sometimes you just crave a juicy sky-high burgs that’s literally dripping down your arms with goodness.
It’s a classic meal that we could easily have two, maybe even three times a week. Did we also mention it’s the perf antidote to a chronic hangover?
And if there’s one thing we know for sure, burgers on the Coast are a perennial fan fave with locals so when we heard we’d just scored a brand new burger joint we were absolutely stoked!
That’s right guys, DownTown Burgers have just set up shop in bustling Maroochydore and they’re open just in time for the weekend. Can we get a heck yes?!
You might already know the name DownTown Burgers? That’s cause these guys already own one of the best burger joints in Nambour. They’re so popular with locals that they decided to go big and open up a second location on bustling Ocean Street.
Now what’s on the menu you might ask? Well we can’t seem to go past the Blue Cheese Burger ourselves. It’s something slightly different and utterly delicious. Essentially, it’s a cheeseburger topped off with maple bacon and (duh) chucks of blue cheese.
There are also veggie, vegan and gluten free burgers on the menu too so this place caters for everyone. There’s even the Big Boy Burger that includes FOUR meat patties, cheese whizz and bacon. We suggest you take your date there and share. #sahromantic
Did we mention these guys also do M&M dessert burgers too?! Yeah, you’re not going to leave this joint hungry. Or with your jeans buttoned up!
So throw on those track pants and get your butt down there ASAP! Cause this is one cheat meal you will never, ever, ever regret.
