Everyone knows that the booziest nights start at the classiest establishments, and that is exactly what new cocktail bar on the block, Miyako Lounge, is . Conveniently located on the end of Ocean Street, Miyako is the fresh face of Drunken Dumpling and brings plenty of Asian-inspired cocktails to their menu, like their oh-so-boozy share teapots, as well as all your classics. Helloooo espresso martinis.

With a selection of small plate menu items, like handmade dumplings, bao buns, prawn toast, and duck spring rolls, this Asian-influenced cocktail bar is setting the bar high, but the carefully curated cocktails are the real star. During the week, Miyako will be the perfect date night, pre-dinner, or post-work watering hole, but come the weekend expect throwback house and funk music on Fridays and hip hop and R&B to be oozing out of there on Saturday nights.

Cheeky tip: Miyako serves after-work happy hour on Thursdays and Fridays from 4pm to 6pm. The Sunshine Coast cocktail scene just levelled up with the arrival of Miyako Lounge.
