We’ve got some beer-y good news for all you Sunshine Coast brews lovers that is sure to quench your thirst for a good time.
The Hinterland Craft Beer Festival is back this month, bringing together the best of local breweries, live music, food trucks and Eumundi good vibes. This family-friendly festival will kick off at The Imperial Hotel Eumundi on Saturday 24 June, from midday until 8pm. And did we mention that it’s free entry too?
Turning five years old—and more than ready to celebrate it—the beer extravaganza will showcase over 80 beers from the Sunshine Coast’s most loved breweries, as a whirlwind celebration of craft beer, creativity and quality. There will also be a range of festival exclusives and limited release flavours, so you’ll be one of the first to get your lips around these frothies.
The Hinterland Craft Beer Festival is celebrating the return of festival faves such as Heads of Noosa Brewing Co, Copperhead Brewery, Boiling Pot Brewing Co, Moffat Beach Brewing Co, Sunshine Brewery, Your Mates Brewing Co, Noosa Hinterland Brewing Co, Matso’s Brewery, Terella Brewing and of course, Eumundi Brewery. If beer isn't your thing, there will be plenty of alternate drinks and a pop-up Gin Bar serving up Eumundi Distillers' Folktale gins.
Once you’ve got your beer gut in full force, tuck into some of the mouth-watering bites from local foodies, such as SoCal Tacos, Little Mayak Malaysian and traditional German bratwurst.
If the Hinterland Craft Beer Festival wasn’t epic enough already, the main stage line-up kicks off with local alt-country artist Bud Rokesky, as well as banger acts like local Eumundi entertainer Benny O and the seven-piece Kurilpa Reach. Spinning wax and playing tracks, The Imperial Hotel resident Vinyl DJ’s will also be playing sets to keep you grooving throughout the afternoon.
