Gold Coasters, dust off your passports. Jetstar has just launched direct flights to Bali today and is celebrating with a cheeky 24-hour flash sale.
Yep, you can now fly straight from the Gold Coast to Bali for just $215 one-way. This sale fare is live as of 10am on Friday 1 August and will run until 10am Saturday 2 August, unless sold out prior.
This new route marks Jetstar as the first low-cost carrier to run non-stop direct flights from the Gold Coast to Bali (Denpasar), and we’re here for it. The flights kick off today, 1 August, and will run three times a week, adding over 58,000 budget-friendly seats a year to one of Australia’s favourite getaway spots.
In even better news, the flights will be operated on Jetstar’s sleek new A320neo aircraft—which are quieter, more fuel-efficient, and all-round better for the planet. Two of these next-gen planes are now permanently based on the Gold Coast, bringing Jetstar’s local fleet up to six and solidifying their position as the Gold Coast’s biggest carrier.
So, why the fuss? Bali is basically the unofficial second home of Aussies, and this direct route makes it even easier to zip away for a surf trip, wellness escape or cocktail crawl. With flights also now connecting the Gold Coast to Hamilton, Dunedin and Darwin as of June 2025, Jetstar is firmly flexing its wings in the region.
Jetstar’s Executive Manager, Customer, Jenn Armor, said the new route provided even more international choice for Gold Coast customers.
“We’ve seen strong demand from customers living on the Gold Coast for direct international travel options including recent trans-Tasman route launches to Hamilton and Dunedin.
“It’s clear Australians just can’t get enough of Bali, so we’re excited to launch direct flights from the Gold Coast to this beautiful Indonesian holiday island, allowing customers to take off more for less."
The flash sale is live now until sold out, so hit up jetstar.com and get booking—because those $215 fares won’t last long.
Now that you'e got your flights sorted, plan your itinerary with the ultimate Bali must-do list.
