his many fans both young and old.
“I’ve always had a great time on the Sunshine Coast and it’s also St Patrick’s Day so it will

The Station is the Sunshine Coast’s vibrant new family entertainment precinct, injecting fresh life into the former NightQuarter site in Birtinya.
The family-friendly entertainment hub is open six days a week, with Stage One of The Station opening on Friday 1 March including the new skate park Alleys, a scooter and skate retail shop, a thriving food truck precinct with a rotating roster of food trucks and—of course—an epic live entertainment concert venue.
The Station is expansive, spanning 6400sqm, and is expected to bring a breath of fresh air to the Sunshine Coast, providing a premium venue for local and interstate acts which doubles as a casual family-friendly hub. Describing itself as “the Sunshine Coast’s new platform for all things entertainment and good times”, we dig it.

Owners Chris and Lauren Hignett are also the brains behind the much-loved Alley-Oops Indoor Skatepark, so they certainly know what they’re doing.
While the little ones hit the skate park, parents can kick back and enjoy the impressive offering of local food and drink venues gracing The Station. While the roster will be rotating, current stars include Mateo’s Pizzeria, Pete The Greek, Zeus’ Kitchen, La Costa Del Sol and many more. Local legends on tap include 10 Toes, Sunshine & Sons, Your Mates Brewing Co., Brouhaha and Moffat Beach Brewing Co., just to name a few.
