Easter is a time for eating, drinking, and all ‘round good times. Conveniently, a heap of our favourite cafes, bars, and restaurants are staying open over Easter to make your life that much better.
Here’s what’s open this Easter long weekend on the Sunshine Coast.
Balance out all that chocolate you’ll be scoffing with some healthy eats from VanillaFood this Easter long weekend. The Noosa Junction store will be open Good Friday and Easter Saturday, but closed Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. The Belmondos store will only be open on Easter Saturday.
The Pocket Espresso (Moffat Beach)
Our favourite little pocket in Moffat Beach will be open all weekend, from 6am until late on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and 6am until 2.30pm on Easter Monday.
Decisions Superfood Superjunk (Birtinya)
Throwing their doors wide open, Birtinya stalwart Decisions are dishing out deliciousness from 6am to 2pm on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
White Picket Fence (Caloundra)
Open every day from 7am to 12pm over the Easter long weekend, you can count on White Picket Fence to have your brunching needs covered.
Monica’s Cafe and Dining (Maleny)
Keen to head for the hills this Easter? Make like Friends and stop in at Monica’s in Maleny—they’re closed Good Friday but are open from 8.30am on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
One Block Back (Moffat Beach)
Cruise in to this cute Moffat Beach cafe between 7am and 2.30pm on Easter Sunday and Monday only (closed Friday and Saturday).
The Caf (Coolum)
Head to The Caf and check out their brand new renovation along with some delicious new autumn dishes. Closed Good Friday, but open Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 6.30am to 3pm.
The Nines (Maroochydore)
You might not be able to get your loaded shake fix on Good Friday, but don’t despair—The Nines kitchen is open Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 8am to 2pm. Our stomachs are ready.
Urban Garden (Maroochydore)
Start your public holidays off as perky as Mr G with a cup of joe from Urban Garden. They’ll be open on Saturday and Monday from 7am until 12pm.
Pier 33 (Mooloolaba)
This waterfront slice of paradise is open for lunch and dinner all weekend, except for Easter Monday. To find out more about Pier 33, click here.
El Capitano (Noosa)
If pizza is on the agenda this Easter long weekend, you'll be pleased to know El Capitano on Hastings Street is open from 5pm every day.
Umami Ramen (Maroochydore)
It’s business as usual at Umami Ramen, open Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday. They will be closed Easter Monday.
Miss Moneypenny’s (Noosa)
If you haven’t heard about Miss Moneypenny’s Bottomless Brunch yet, you’re missing out. Dishing up the incredible brunch offerings on both Good Friday and Easter Sunday, you’d best be booking your table right now.
Pitchfork (Peregian Beach)
As the Peregian food scene continues to surprise and delight, Pitchfork is still always on our minds. Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but closed Easter Monday, we heard on the grapevine that tables are filling up fast.
The newest restaurant to open as part of the Mooloolaba Wharf Precinct, Spero is dishing up delicious Greek street food and lip-smacking cocktails every day, from 11.30am until 9pm.
Rice Boi (Mooloolaba)
If you’re after a hit of Asian fare this Easter long weekend, scoot straight to Rice Boi for curries, noodles and everything in between, every day from 11.30am until 9pm.
Bistro C (Noosa)
Hastings Street front runner Bistro C is doing everyone a favour and staying open four out of four days this long weekend, from 7.30am until late. Calamari and cocktails overlooking the ocean? Pretty sure life doesn’t get much better.
Kiki Bar & Eatery (Maroochydore)
Except for closing on Good Friday, Kiki Bar & Eatery will be open for business and delicious cocktails as usual all weekend long.
Dirty Moes (Mooloolaba)
Pop down to Mooloolaba this weekend and you’ll discover Moe isn’t that dirty. In fact, he’s quite sweet, and he does a mean beef brisket. Dirty Moes will welcome you with open arms all Easter long week, from 12pm until late.
Your Mates Brewhouse (Kawana)
One of our favourite Sunshine Coast breweries are staying open for the majority of the Easter long weekend. While Your Mates Brewhouse will be closed on Good Friday, they’ll be open from 11am on Saturday and launching their new IPA character’s name. On Sunday, they’ll also be pouring brews from 11am, along with hosting a big Sunday session complete with smoked plates and free games of pool all day.
Village Bicycle (Noosa)
The Village Bicycle guys are taking a well-deserved break while they can on Friday and Easter Monday, but will be partying into the night on Saturday and Sunday from 3pm.
A genius concept combining a love of custom motorbikes, great nosh and even better tipples, Moto is a part showroom, part cafe and bar in Noosa, and will be open Friday from 6.30am to 10pm, Saturday 6.30am to 2pm, Sunday from 6.30am to 12pm and Monday 6.30am to 2pm.
Land & Sea (Noosa)
Open all Easter weekend except Good Friday, Land & Sea Brewery is going to be your bestie this long and relaxing weekend. Bring the family or your mates, sip on some cold brews and chill out from 10am till late on Saturday and Sunday, and 11am till late on Monday.
Post Office Bar (Maroochydore)
If the term “long weekend” doesn’t scream “day drinking” to you, there’s a possibility you’re doing it wrong. Allow the Post Office Bar to change your mind. With live music from 6pm and a DJ from 9pm-3am on both Saturday and Sunday. This bar will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
Rick’s Garage (Palmwoods)
You can take on the Big One, a towering burger you’ll be unlikely to finish, thanks to Rick’s relaxed trading hours this Easter long weekend. Closed Good Friday, Rick’s will be open from 10am until late on both Saturday and Sunday, and 10am until 4pm on Monday.
Glass House Brewery (Forest Glen)
The Glass House Brewery has the class of a winery, the menu of a 5-star Italian restaurant and the décor of a rustic log cabin, and it’s open both Easter Saturday and Sunday from 11.30am (closed Friday and Monday).
