The Verdict

The kings of Asian-style cheap eats on the Sunshine Coast, we have a mild obsession with ANYTHNG from Junk.

The street food menu is brimming with can’t-go-wrong choices, but, if you twisted our arm, we’d probs shout ‘order the JFC’ because the Korean fried chicken wings with a sweet and spicy sauce are next-level. Pair it with a serve of Gangnam fries—think spiced fries with house made kimchi, nacho cheese sauce, spring onion and nori—and you’ve got yourself a super satisfying feed without digging into your rent. 

Fronting Ocean Street, the restaurant set-up is casual, decorated with Asian motifs and has loads of seating, so no matter whether it’s a date or the whole fam is in tow, Junk will welcome you with open arms.
