The Verdict
Coffee and cats; what could be better? You’ll get them both at The Cat Retreat Cafe in Chevallum.
They’ve got up to eight beautiful cats for you to play with and cuddle, each with their own special personalities. Spend some time with these cool cats in the Zen Zone, where you can book an hour cat playdate for $20. With only three sessions each day (10.30am, 12pm and 1.30pm), you'll have to book in early to avoid disappointment of not getting your furry fix.
If you just want to sit back and watch them do their thing, you can relax in the cafe, enjoying a hot cup of coffee and some delicious and nutritious food (and by nutritious we mean doughnuts).
All of the cats are rescued from the Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge, and you can even take one home and become a legitimate cat parent, if you make a special connection.
