Chet Faker is officially coming to town, and Sydney is getting one of the most intimate stops on his A Love For Strangers world tour. Off the back of a long-awaited new album (dropping 13 February), singer Nick Murphy is bringing the Chet Faker project into a new era.

Rather than a stadium blow-out, Faker is landing at the Enmore Theatre this March, giving fans the rare chance to hear both new material and classic tracks in a smaller scale venue. If you’ve ever wanted to experience Gold, Talk Is Cheap or Low in a crowd where you can actually see the stage, this one is for you.

We’ve pulled together everything you need to know before tickets drop.

When And Where It’s All Going Down

Chet Faker will play Enmore Theatre on Wednesday 4 March 2026 as part of his A Love For Strangers global tour. The Enmore’s old-school theatre setup makes it one of Sydney’s best live music rooms—perfect for the moody, groove-heavy sound Faker has become known for.

Tickets go on sale Monday 19 January at 12pm via Ticketek, with a Frontier Members presale opening Thursday 15 January at 10am. Given the venue size and how rarely Faker does headline theatre shows, we wouldn’t recommend leaving this one to chance.

What To Expect From The Setlist

This tour is built around Faker’s upcoming album A Love For Strangers, which follows 2021’s Hotel Surrender and marks a return to the emotional core of his songwriting. Recent singles Far Side of the Moon and This Time For Real hint at a warmer, more reflective sound—perfect for a room like the Enmore.

Alongside the new tracks, expect a setlist stacked with fan favourites from across his career, including:

  • Gold
  • Talk Is Cheap
  • Low
  • 1998
  • Built On Glass era staples

Plus selections from Hotel Surrender and the new record—which you can start studying after its release on the 13th February.

How To Get To The Enmore

The Enmore Theatre sits right on Enmore Road, making it one of the easiest Sydney venues to get to without a car.

  • Train: Hop off at Newtown Station and walk five minutes down Enmore Road to the theatre.
  • Bus: Multiple Inner West routes run along Enmore Road and King Street, dropping you within steps of the venue.
  • Car: Street parking is limited and fills quickly on show nights, so public transport is your best bet unless you’re arriving early.

And because you’re in Enmore and Newtown, you’re surrounded by some of Sydney’s best pre-show bars and eateries—ideal for settling in before the lights go down.
