Pleasure Club, Odd Culture And The Old Fitz Are Banding Together To Bring Sydney Some Cocktail Class
Sydney’s nightlife is cranking things up this month. Pleasure Club, Odd Culture Newtown and The Old Fitz are banding together with the legends at Bombay Sapphire to pour a trio of limited-edition cocktails inspired by spectacular spots around Aus.
Each serve is the venue’s personal take on a hidden jewel, a special place that’s stuck with them long after the trip home, reimagined as a shimmering, summery Bombay Sapphire cocktail.
Priced at $25 each, these gems are only sticking around ‘til Tuesday, 31 March.
Keep scrolling to discover the stories behind the glass and how to sip them before they disappear.
Nocturnal Desire At Pleasure Club

Newtown’s psychedelic basement bar and live music haunt, Pleasure Club, is shaking up Nocturnal Desire: a cocktail drawing inspo from the whimsical Helensburgh Glow Worm Tunnel, one of NSW’s most jaw-dropping hidden jewels.
Built in the 1880’s, the now-abandoned railroad tunnel is polka-dotted with thousands of blue lights from bioluminescent glow worms, a magical must-see sight.
Bringing that same ethereal energy, the Nocturnal Desire is crafted with a fruity base of Davidson Plum Bombay Sapphire Gin and a glimmer of Marionette Blue Curaçao.
Add splashes of peach aperitif, lemon verbena and orange tonic to the mix, a finish of pink port dust, and you have a slightly surreal cocktail made for after-dark sipping.
Cathedral In Bloom At The Old Fitz

The bartenders at The Old Fitz are pouring Cathedral In Bloom beauties, a nod to the jacaranda trees that transform Woolloomooloo’s Cathedral Street into a fragrant wonderland each summer.
The historic pub-bistro-theatre sits right on the corner of the famed street, boasting streetside tables in perfect eyeshot of the changing seasons.
The echoing floral masterpiece is spiked with OG Bombay Sapphire Gin, green jasmine, strawberry gum, dragon fruit and pistachio orgeat, and simply finished with a dusting of matcha down the side of the glass.
Katoomba Gold At Odd Culture

At fermentation-focused European bistro, Odd Culture, the Katoomba Gold channels that unforgettable golden-hour glow over the stunning Blue Mountains.
Taking inspiration from Katoomba’s sweeping vistas and other-worldly grandeur, this cocktail is a major wow moment.
Built with beeswax–infused Bombay Sapphire Gin, it’s layered with nutty amontillado sherry, fermented honey and earthy vetiver, then stirred and finished with raw honeycomb.
The result? A luscious serve that feels like digging for gold in a vast landscape, aka a proper hidden jewel you can sip.
