One thing we know about foodies in Sydney: they love cheese and wine. Omnom’s Sydney cheesemaking workshops combine both in fun, educational and hands-on classes that see students sipping bottomless drinks while whipping up bocconcini, burrata, halloumi, stracciatella and more.

Classes take place in Omnom's Rosebery studio, and they're perfect for absolute cheese novices, a spin on date night, or a boozy and delicious catch-up with your mates.

Depending on the focus, classes range between 1.5 and 2.5 hours and cover everything you need to know from milk selection using store-bought milk to acidification, coagulation, and how to turn the curds into the good stuff.

You take home all the cheesy goodness you make (around a kilo's worth), and the workshops start at $89; if bottomless drinks aren't included in the one you're interested in, you can add them on for just $29.

As well as its dedicated cheesemaking workshops, Omnom also hosts classes where you can whip up pasta to pair with stracciatella or ricotta—and bottomless wine, of course.

You can browse and book Omnom's workshops and book online.
