Twilight At Taronga Is Back With 10 Epic Sunset Concerts

By Sammy Preston

An open air concert overlooking Sydney Harbour at sunset

It’s one of Sydney’s quintessential summertime events—a series of open-air concerts in a natural amphitheatre backdropped by one of the most spectacular views of Sydney Harbour at sunset. Yes, Twilight at Taronga is officially back, and they’ve just dropped the line-up of performances due to hit the zoo early next year.

From Friday 28 January, there’ll be 10 acts playing across four weekends. On the bill is Winston Surfshirt, San Cisco, The Church, Josh Pyke, and more, as well as the James Morrison Big Band for some jazz in the jungle vibes, and Darryl Braithwaite because it doesn’t get more summery than belting out One Summer as you watch the sun go down in a picnic-style setting with your closest mates.

Tickets come with a bunch of optional extras, which contribute to Taronga Zoo’s epic and important work in wildlife conservation (including koalas!). You can shop gourmet hampers, sundown chairs, picnic blankets, and same-day zoon entry too if you want to make a day of it.

And, if you really want to go the extra mile, there’s even a ticket with the added option of an overnight stay at Taronga’s incredible eco-friendly Wildlife Retreat—one of our favourite luxury hotels in Sydney.

Tickets will go on sale at midday on Thursday 4 November. Head over here to grab yours.
