The Corner is Palm Beach's vibrant new neighbourhood hub from The Boathouse Group—think delicatessen, providore, wine bar and restaurant, pulled together in one seamless dining experience. If you are channelling your inner coastal grandmother this summer, this is the place to be: linger on the sun-filled deck with your morning coffee, browse the shelves for European-style bistro goods and fresh seasonal produce, or pull up a chair for elegant bistro dining.

“Our vision is for The Corner to become a true local hub — somewhere people feel welcome to visit multiple times a day or week. It’s not just a café, but a destination that blends community, convenience and quality", says chef and general manager, Sam Kane (ex-Bert's).

It's a vision that carries through to their dining menu, where you'll find dishes with a contemporary European feel, round the clock. For brekkie, think smoked rainbow trout with potato latkes and jammy eggs with Bruny Island cheese. Come lunch and dinnertime, expect elegant coastal plates like Ulladulla yellowfin tuna crudo with green tomato and sesame, or Copper Tree Farm minute steak with bone marrow and green pepper shallot sauce.

And we haven't forgetten drinks—alongside a considered list of classic cocktails, there's a rotating wine list showcasing both Australian and European drops. You'll find us drinking The Corner margarita: Olmeca Altos, cold-pressed lime juice, agave and a salt rim? It doesn't get much better than that.

In a pinch, grab and go takeaway options make the perfect travelling companion. The general store is packed with delicatessan and providore-style goods, featuring small-batch producers and artisanal makers from across the region. Pick up a loaf of fresh bread, house-made condiments and some Australian cheese, and you've got yourself a beachside picnic.

The Corner is serving à la carte breakfast and lunch, daily from 7am to 4pm. A 3-course set menu will be available on Friday and Saturday evenings, for $85 a head.
