One Of The World’s Most Decorated Chefs Is Opening A New Fine-Dining Restaurant At Crown Perth
Perth is about to land one of its biggest restaurant openings in years, with globally acclaimed Swedish chef Björn Frantzén set to open a brand-new dining destination inside Crown Perth in 2027.
Widely regarded as one of the world's leading chefs, Frantzén has built an international reputation through restaurants in Stockholm, Singapore and Dubai. His cooking blends Scandinavian precision with French technique and Japanese influences, earning him a place among the world's culinary elite. Next year, Western Australians will be able to experience that approach firsthand when Brasserie Astoria opens at Crown Towers.
The restaurant will occupy a brand-new space within the luxury hotel that has never previously been accessible to guests. While the final menu is still under wraps, diners can expect an elevated experience centred on Australian ingredients interpreted through the Frantzén Group's signature style, with an emphasis on seasonality, craftsmanship and immersive hospitality.
The opening is another milestone in Crown Perth's ongoing transformation, following the arrival of Gladstones wine bar and the Urban Food District, which has expanded the resort's collection of restaurants and bars over the past year.
Brasserie Astoria will launch alongside a sister restaurant at Crown Sydney, marking the Frantzén Group's first Australian venture and giving local diners access to one of the world's most acclaimed restaurant groups without leaving the country.
