Everything We Know So Far About The Fray's Summer Of Light Australian Tour

The Fray announced their Aussie tour on 14 September, adding four brand-new dates across Australia and New Zealand. It’s particularly exciting news for Kiwis, marking the band’s first-ever show in New Zealand.

The tour will feature songs from their brand-new album, A Light That Waits (their first album in 12 years as a trio) alongside crowd-pleasing favourites like How To Save A Life. So, if you’re ready to relive the first time you bawled your eyes out watching Grey’s Anatomy, you’re in luck.

When And Where Is The Fray Playing In Australia And New Zealand In 2027?

The Australia and NZ leg of the Summer Of Light tour includes four dates between 5 and 17 February 2027:

• 5 February 2027 — Margaret Court Arena, Melbourne
• 10 February 2027 — Waves, Wollongong
• 11 February 2027 — The Hordern Pavilion, Sydney
• 17 February 2027 — Eventfinda Stadium, Auckland

Who Will Be Supporting The Fray On Tour In Australia?

The band will be joined by special guests Dashboard Confessional and Straya’s own Rachael Fahim at most shows, excluding Wollongong, where Dashboard won’t perform.

Are The Fray Playing Any Festivals In Australia In 2027?

Yes! The Fray is also headlining Lookout Festival, alongside an epic line-up including Bastille, Dashboard Confessional, Killing Heidi and Little Birdy.
