The Strokes Just Announced Their 2027 Aussie Tour, Here’s How To Score Tickets

If you spent the noughties losing your nut to indie rock at various festivals, you’d probably like to know that The Strokes are coming back to Australia early next year.

After selling out dates all over Europe, North America, South America, Japan, and the UK, they’re coming Down Under to headline some scorching summer concerts and major city arenas.

The Reality Awaits tour marks their seventh studio album, and they’ve already smashed some epic performances at huge festivals from Coachella and Bonnaroo to Outside Lands and Japan’s Summer Sonic 2026—here's everything you need to know about their upcoming Australian dates.

When and Where Are The Strokes Playing In Australia?

Returning for the first time since they headlined to a sold-out festival crowd at Harvest Rock in Adelaide in 2022, the Reality Awaits tour includes four dates across Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney. 

• Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Brisbane: Saturday 13 February
• Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne: Tuesday 16, Wednesday 17 February
• Sydney Summertime, Centennial Park, Sydney: Saturday 20 February

Fun fact: The Strokes are the first headliner announced for the inaugural Sydney Summertime concert series in Sydney’s iconic Centennial Park. The event series is set to combine global live music acts with all kinds of festival-like experiences, including an array of food trucks, bars, and cellar doors showcasing Sydney’s foodie scene.

Who is Supporting the Strokes in Australia 2027?

The Strokes are supported in Australia by a combination of Beck, Courtney Barnett, and Promiseland at various performances during the tour. 

Whichever combination you get, you can expect explosive, live, indie rock vibes all the way, baby. Plus a side of low-key psychedelic chill from Beck, of course.

If you want to get ahead of the crowds and secure your tickets to see The Strokes in Australia ASAP, you can try your luck at the artist presale between Monday 28 September 9 am and Tuesday 29 September 12 pm.

Or if you don’t mind waiting in line, the general public sale for The Strokes tickets starts on Tuesday 29 September at 1 pm.
