A New Dining Precinct With Five Distinctly Different Venues Is Opening In The CBD
City slickers will soon have a new destination for working lunches and knock-off meals with a vibrant new retail and dining precinct in the works.
Located within commercial tower 205 North Quay, the precinct will be home to five distinctive food concepts with each venue designed to cater to the different rhythms of Brisbane’s CBD.
Your morning needs (read: caffeine) will be covered in Mavis and Herschel, with Mavis serving quality coffee and familiar favourites throughout the day, while Herschel is all about healthy options and bagels championing simplicity. Then there’s Böhl: the place for nutrient-rich meals made specifically for a busy lifestyle. These will be complemented by a micro market stocked with premium take-home options and specialty items, saving you a trip to the grocery store after the workday.

Rounding out the offerings is a Mediterranean dining concept dubbed Pozzo’s—perfect for social dining and lunch breaks that go a little longer than intended.
The precinct by Cbus Property has been developed in partnership with workplace hospitality specialist Eurest who are known for harnessing the power of food to create teams that are healthier, more engaged, and have higher productivity. It checks out for the $600 landmark tower, which was built as a wellness-led workplace environment.
“From the outset, our vision for 205 North Quay was to create more than an office building—it was conceived as a place where people feel connected to their workplace, to each other and to the city around them,” said Cbus Property’s CEO Chris Kakoufas.

Whether you’re grabbing and going or settling in for a meal, each of the precinct’s signature hospitality experiences will evolve to reflect the city’s changing tastes.
“Together, our five concepts create a dynamic ecosystem designed to evolve with the needs of the 205 North Quay community,” Eurest National Operations Manager Ollie Hay said. “Curated to feel instantly familiar and welcoming, this precinct gives us a rare opportunity to truly nourish the immediate community that fuels Brisbane’s CBD every day.”
Herschel is now open with the remaining concepts slated to launch this July. It’s just one of many exciting changes taking place in the Brisbane CBD—from the Treasury Building’s transformation to Eagle Street Pier’s revitalisation and the new Albert Street underground station.
