Like beer? (Stupid question, of course you do). Like exercising? Err, yeah, sure. Okay, so while we're not a huge fan of hitting the pavement on the regs, we do love to bend the elbow every now and again for a frosty.
Beer and running, though? Together? Look, its not the prettiest thought that comes to mind—but gee does it sound like fun! Brace yourselves, because the Brisbane Beer Run is coming to a pavement near you on Sunday 28 March.
To answer a few rather obvious questions, you simply run and drink beer at five select pit-stops along the way (we're not a bunch of animals, we're a civilised bunch). Simple—and hilarious to boot.
You'll start in Milton with the first stop at Newstead Brewing Co., before running on to Milton Common. Fritzenberger Petrie Terrace is the next stop, followed by Brisbane Brewery Co. in West End before stumbling over the finish line at Charming Squire in South Bank.
Everyone who takes part will receive a goody bag as part of their ticket, as well as an ice cold frothy ale in each brewery, a Beer Run bib, and, of course, a number and your medal. These events usually sell out, so you might want to grab those tickets quick
