Coming out of isolation, it’s been a while since we’ve all seen our family, friends and partners for a good old catch up. What better way to make up for lost time than over a picnic? And you don't even have to put the basket of goodies together yourself—not when these Brisbane hotels will do it for you.

Yep, hotels like W Brisbane and Brisbane Marriot have been getting creative with their offerings while in lockdown, and have you sorted with the finest array of some of the most drool-worthy hampers you could dream of. Filled to the brim with cheese, charcuterie and champagne, they make for the perfect picnic outing. Here's what you could be snacking on when you lay down that picnic blanket.

W Brisbane

W Brisbane has not one, but four delicious baskets to choose from—the Crave, Feast, Revel and Indulge hampers, all wrapped up in a basket that's yours to keep. For a classic spread, the Crave hamper ($125) features an array of goodies like cheese, prosciutto, salami, pumpkin sausage rolls and sweet potato hummus, with a bottle of Chandon thrown in if you upgrade to the Feast hamper ($149). Want to splurge? Opt for the Revel or Indulge baskets ($225), overflowing with rich truffle brie, Yarra Valley salmon caviar on salmon rillettes, duck and cherry pate and custard macaroons with strawberry meringue—and that's only a quarter of it. Each hamper comes complete with its own beverage and glasses to keep—Revel with your choice of cocktail in a three litre Belvedere Vodka brunch jar, and Indulge with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Champagne.

Brisbane Marriot

If brunch is more your style, Brisbane Marriot have you covered. Their Brunch Bundle ($75) comes with everything you need for the perfect morning feed, only one designed to be eaten on the grass. Snack and graze on croissants, salmon and cream cheese bagels, breakfast frittata, bircher muesli, fresh fruit and a selection of cold meats and cheese as well as freshly squeezed juices—they'll even throw in two barista coffees or iced coffees when you pick it up. Of course, you can also ramp it up with bubbles ($170)—and who wouldn't?
