Getting To The Brisbane Marathon

The Brisbane Marathon will be taking over the City Botanic Gardens—transforming the lush spot into the official Brisbane Marathon Festival where you can pop your bags away, access bathrooms and find out all the key information about your event. The best part? There are plenty of ways to get there.

Extra train services will be running on the morning of 7 June from 3:52am and will be free for anyone wearing a race bib (or a person accompanying someone in a race bib) as well as anyone wearing a volunteer shirt. You can check out the train schedule here.

If you prefer to drive, we recommend booking a paid park in the Brisbane City, South Bank or Kangaroo Point  like a Wilsons Parking or Secure Parking then walking to the City Botanic Gardens. Just think of it as your warm up for the marathon.

Race Start Times

Five races will be taking place on 7 June as part of the Brisbane Marathon:

  • The official marathon and half marathon both kick off at 6am
  • The 10km starts at 9:15am
  • The 5km starts at 10am
  • The 2km starts at 11am

After your race, you can swing by the Event Expo or the Felons Brewing Co Beer Garden for a well deserved drink.
