This Epic Swim-Up Bar Just Opened To The Public For The Summer

By Ranyhyn Laine

Thought you needed to travel to Bali or Fiji to find a swim up pool bar you can float around for a balmy summer afternoon? Well think again—there's one right here in Brisbane at The Westin, and it's a stunner. Best of all, you don't even need to be a guest to take a dip, with the luxe hotel opening it up to the public for select afternoons over the summer.

From now until Sunday 25 February, you’ll be able to book in to head up to Level 2 of the hotel, where you’ll find the Nautilus Pool Bar, Brisbane’s one and only swim-up pool bar. Make sure you pack your flashest togs, because you’ll be able to take a dip to cool off, or just lounge around the pool sipping on cocktails and taking in the views.

In even better news, for the first time ever, they are also dishing up a Maldivian Floating Breakfast Experience. Available on Fridays and Saturdays between 10am and 11.30am, the experience will have you indulging in hot breakfast dishes, fresh fruit, pastries, tea or coffee and a bottle of Mumm Champange for $280 (for two people), with all-day pool access included.

Not that baller? Don't worry, tickets for general access to the pool will only  will set you back $49, and that even gets you towel use and a Nautilus Spring Spritz on arrival, with Friday, Saturday and Sunday dates available. If you do want to level things up a little, you can also book a cabana package, which includes a seafood platter, a bottle of rosé and still and sparkling water for two for $269. Otherwise, a Maldivian-inspired menu of pina coladas, frozen daiquiris the size of your head and snacks of tuna ceviche and chilli boava await.
