Todd & Pup, tucked away in leafy Moorooka, offers up an exciting menu you wouldn’t expect to find in the ‘burbs. Titled simply the ‘Benedict’ this offering pairs delectable cured ocean trout with the classic poached free range eggs and lime infused salt.  As if that wasn’t a sweet enough deal, this place is also dog friendly!

River Bar and Kitchen

Brisbane City

River Bar and Kitchen is the home of the perfectly runny egg.  One of the most simple, pared back iterations of eggs benny in the sunny city, River Bar’s offering is nothing short of delicious. They even use ham instead of bacon to save you some of the guilt. Perfect for those sunny mornings gazing out on the Brisbane River and Story Bridge.

Groove Café

The eggs benny is the signature dish at Groove Cafe, so no visit is complete without sampling it. It’s, quite frankly, what dreams are made of: streaky bacon, runny eggs and layers of hollandaise sauce piled on top of crispy potato waffles. See you there!

So good they’ve made it on our list two editions in a row! Symposium Cafe ditched the bread for zucchini fritters AND they add truffle oil. What are you waiting for?

We’re pretty sure you’ll be going loco for this ham and cheese Benedict waffle from Little Loco in New Farm.  This one takes the path less travelled and adds a little kick to the hollandaise.

Have you ever wanted an eggs benny bagel? Of course you have. Thanks to the kind folk at Buzz Bistro in New Farm who have turned your dreams into reality with their next level eggs benny bacon burger.

Suburban Cafe

West End

Suburban Café in West End take the cake for the most traditional eggs benny. It’s all crispy streaky bacon, golden toast and lashings of hollandaise. Except, you can totally add halloumi, pulled pork and it comes with their TDF feta and chive potato hash. Nailed it.

Moray Café

New Farm

For those who prefer their eggs benny with a few extra sides, and in the form of a burger, Moray Cafe is your jam. Filled with avo, halloumi, spinach, hollandaise and… controversially, a fried egg.
