River Bar and Kitchen
River Bar and Kitchen is the home of the perfectly runny egg. One of the most simple, pared back iterations of eggs benny in the sunny city, River Bar’s offering is nothing short of delicious. They even use ham instead of bacon to save you some of the guilt. Perfect for those sunny mornings gazing out on the Brisbane River and Story Bridge.

Suburban Café in West End take the cake for the most traditional eggs benny. It’s all crispy streaky bacon, golden toast and lashings of hollandaise. Except, you can totally add halloumi, pulled pork and it comes with their TDF feta and chive potato hash. Nailed it.
For those who prefer their eggs benny with a few extra sides, and in the form of a burger, Moray Cafe is your jam. Filled with avo, halloumi, spinach, hollandaise and… controversially, a fried egg.
