In case you’ve been living under a rock, glamping is not only huge on the Sunshine Coast but also massive around Australia. So, when we found out the Coast was scoring a glamping-game changer we were absolutely thrilled to say the least.

We’re talking a 65-acre site, with absolute beachfront views, folks. This is not just a first for the Coast, this is the first of its kind in Australia. #hugedeal We’ve been wanting to make this announcement for a while and have been sitting back patiently waiting for this incredible glamping experience to open on the Coast.

Habitat Noosa

And now, finally, we’re thrilled to announce that this uber-luxe glamping ground has literally JUST opened on the Coast and it’s the best thing we’ve seen.

Let us proudly introduce you to Habitat Noosa

When we said game-changer and first-of-its-kind we really meant it. There is no other experience like it to be found in Australia. Not only can you stay in various kinds of luxury glamping tents, but you can also camp with powered sites spread throughout the grounds. There are also a few cute little cabins too should they tickle your fancy. Some of the glamping tents even come equipped with their own

Did we also mention Habitat Noosa features a (and very fancy) bar that’s serving up their very own in-house craft beer? Imagine all the afternoon drinkies opportunities that could be had here.

Just when you thought you’d heard the very best we should also let you know there’s also a bistro too serving up amazing foodie offerings. CootharaBAR, Bistro and Bar is going to be the place to be. We’ve seen the menu and we’ve got our eye on the beer braised lamb shank topped with Kin Kin bush honey, purple sweet potato and peppery greens.

We also can’t seem to go past the chargrilled prawns with garlic, lemon, chilli and herbs. All the foodie offerings are locally-sourced keeping everything seasonal and delicious. Amen to that we say.

There’s also a snuggly fireplace located inside CootharaBAR to keep you toasty warm while you happily sip away evenings during your stay.

The interior of the restaurant is stunning, sexy and exciting. With polished concrete floors, grey panelled walls, warm timber features, a slick brick bar and a comforting stone fireplace it’s the sort of place that’s sophisticated but not overly fussy. It’s inviting and also offers as much indoor seatings as it offers outdoor seating, creating the perfect dining experience for all seasons.

So, where exactly is Habitat Noosa located you might ask?

Habitat Noosa

This incredibly impressive eco-camping and glamping spot is located 25-minutes north of Noosa at the stunningly beautiful Elanda Point. Over the sprawling 65-acres of bushland there’s a huge range of water sports available including canoeing, kayaking, SUPing and sailing. And if that wasn’t enough for your little outdoor-loving hearts, there are even bushwalking and boat tours available to ensure EVERYONE is kept happy during their stay.

Did we mention there’s a golf course, too? Yep, Habitat Noosa also has a 9-hole golf course. What else could you possibly need after visiting this place? We’re guessing, not much.
