If you haven’t had the chance to catch Cirque du Soleil live yet, take this as your cue—their 2026 KOOZA tour is landing in Australia in 2026. The company’s last two Australian tours smashed ticket records and left audiences absolutely buzzing.

Once, the circus was something out of an Enid Blyton story—a place of flying acrobats, glitter, and tiny dogs in waistcoats. Now, it’s here in real life, with all the wonder intact (minus the animals).

Whether you’re trying to impress the kids (because you’ve officially run out of weekend ideas), reconnect with your inner child, or simply have major FOMO from everyone who’s already been, Cirque du Soleil’s 2026 tour should be right at the top of your list.

What Is Cirque Du Soleil?

Cirque du Soleil began in Canada in 1984 with a clear vision: to reimagine the circus without animals, instead centring the artistry of human movement and design. What started as a small group of street performers quickly evolved into a global creative institution, reshaping the boundaries of live performance.

Today, Cirque du Soleil stands as a world leader in contemporary entertainment, known for storytelling through acrobatic performance and spectacle. Over forty years, more than 400 million people across 86 countries have experienced its shows, each one crafted by nearly 4,000 diverse artists, technicians, and visionaries.

How Is KOOZA Different?

Australia is next in line for Cirque du Soleil’s 2026 tour, KOOZA—setting up under the Big Top across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. After the huge success of their last two tours, LUZIA and CORTEO, this show aims to strip back the glamour to the origins of the circus: real people doing unbelievable things—it’s considered one of Cirque du Soleil’s most iconic productions.

KOOZA blends high-stakes acrobatics with clever clowning and a streak of chaos—we guarantee it'll have you holding your breath one minute, and in stitches the next. Every detail is deliberate, from the live band mixing funk, orchestral, and Indian sounds, to the handcrafted costumes and technicolour set design. Together, they create the atmosphere for a show that is simultaneously intimate and larger than life.

First performed in Montréal in 2007, KOOZA has already toured to more than 70 cities and been seen by almost eight million people—so you know you'll be getting the most polished version yet.

When & How Can I See The Show?

KOOZA kicks off its Australian tour in Melbourne, before heading north to Brisbane, with Sydney set to host the final leg.

Melbourne shows will premiere from Wednesday 20 May, under the Big Top at Flemington Racecourse. Brisbane is next from Saturday 1 August, at 465 Curtin Ave, Eagle Farm; and Sydney gets a visit from Saturday 17 October, at The Entertainment Quarter.

Tickets go on sale to the general public from 10 am, Thursday 13 November (aka this week), with early access available for Cirque Club members two days earlier.

You can find the booking link for tickets online. If history is anything to go by, seats will disappear fast, so consider this your early heads-up to plan.
