One of the world’s most spectacular live performances is marching exclusively into Brisbane for the first time ever, celebrating 75 years of beating drums, triumphant pipes and stunning light shows. The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo has historically been held on the esplanade of Edinburgh Castle, but is heading on a special tour this February with over 1,000 of the world’s finest performers coming together for an epic celebration of music, dance and Scottish tradition. Taking over Suncorp Stadium, you can expect an emotionally charged night full of bagpipes, stirring anthems, military precision and more in the full-scale production—no passport needed. Moonlight Cinemas’ Week of Romance

Ring in the Year Of The Horse with Brisbane’s favourite festival celebrating Asian culture across 10 days of art, music, food and performance. BrisAsia returns this February with a jam-packed program including 10 new events and experiences across our River City. There’s a Lunar New Year party at West End’s Thomas Dixon Centre, the first BrisAsia Comedy Gala at Brisbane Powerhouse, and even a pop-up market with street performers at Fish Lane’s Southside Restaurant. Lunar New Year Celebration Event
Better early than never, Westfield Mt Gravatt is kicking off the Year of the Horse with a free celebration featuring lion dance performances, traditional warrior drummers, face painting and a live DJ. Make sure you’re there before 8pm, because that’s when dazzling fireworks will light up the night.
