Mad for a good horror movie? Think you’d be totally cool, calm and collected if you found yourself in one? Well here’s your chance to find out, because a terrifying haunted horror maze just opened in the Valley, and we guarantee it’s going to leave you shaking in your boots.

Evilcorp, the creators of a heap of pop-up Halloween mazes around town, have just opened a brand new spine-chilling experience in the Valley—and this one isn’t just for Halloween. Open every weekend (except public holidays) in a heritage-listed building (so you know, it could really be haunted…), the Horror Maze is an immersive, explore at your own pace experience where you will be simultaneously terrified and entertained.

Entering a subterranean maze in a small group, you’ll be given a flashlight to navigate through the pitch black surrounds. But you’re not alone—mummies, ghosts, zombies, axe murderers and all manner of horrifying creatures (played by talented actors who are a dab hand with theatrical make up) are in there waiting for you, and they want to hear you scream.

If you make it out alive, there’s a themed bar waiting for you at the end, so you can calm your nerves with a stiff drink—trust us, you’ll need it. The experience is so terrifying that it’s restricted to explorers aged 16 and up, so leave the kids at home.

There’s two timed slots available each Saturday night (with plans to open Friday nights in the future), from either 7pm to 8.30pm or 8.30pm to 10pm, and the bar is open until 10.30pm. Wear your comfiest flat shoes so you’re ready to make a run for it and book your tickets here (you can also get tickets at the door until sold out).

The Details
