A Massive Entertainment Precinct With An 800-Person Gastropub Is Opening Next To Brisbane Airport
Let’s be honest: unless we’re snagging discounts at DFO, we’re usually trying our best to keep our time spent around the Brisbane Airport minimal (catch flights, not feelings etc). But all that’s about to change with the landmark entertainment precinct welcoming you very soon that boasts everything you need for a good time in one world-class destination.
Landers Pocket is set to redefine the Brisbane landscape, marking the biggest entertainment precinct launch since Howard Smith Wharves. It’s also four times the size of the waterfront spot, spanning more than 16 hectares with a vibrant mix of dining, recreation and things to do.
Opening this November, the venue will be anchored by an 800-person brewery, distillery and gastropub from Aussie legends 4 Pines Brewing Co. With 32 draught taps pouring their highly awarded core range as well as limited-release beers brewed on site in the microbrewery, it’s a massive addition to Brisbane’s dynamic food and drink scene.

“4 Pines Brewing Landers Pocket isn’t your average pub,” said 4 Pines Brewing Co.’s general manager, Todd Atkinson. “It’s part of a one-of-a-kind entertainment quarter with the freshest beer brewed on-site, great food, good vibes, and something for everyone. We’re pumped to throw the doors open and be part of this epic new precinct.”
This is only stage one for Landers Pocket, with the precinct also set to welcome a Never Never gin distillery, who will craft award-winning spirits on-site. You can also expect an elevated dining and cocktail experience leaning on local produce and seafood, a sprawling beer garden, function spaces, party driving bays, and a new mini golf course. These will all be joining the existing Golf Central, which will evolve to offer high-performance training environments for the more committed golfer.
With 16 hectares to play with, there are even more ambitious developments in Landers Pocket’s future like a 3,000-person amphitheatre for live music and major events and a 1,000-person lawn that can host festivals, pop-up markets and activations. Dedicated to offering a variety of experiences while remaining totally accessible (the mammoth car park is an absolute dream), it’s truly unlike anything we’ve ever seen.
Seated at the gateway of Brisbane, Landers Pocket is an epic introduction for visitors first entering our River City and an exciting welcome back to locals who now have another reason to love their sun-kissed home.
“Our vision for Landers Pocket is to create a truly unique entertainment destination—a place that celebrates award winning beer and gin, new wave golf and elevated dining,” said director James Cooper. “This is just the beginning.”
4 Pines at Landers Pocket is set to open early November.
