It might be hard to believe but summer is weeks away and with it, all of Brisbane's favourite summertime events and happenings too. Yep, Moonlight Cinema is heading back to town this year, cranking up their projectors for a summer of movies under the stars.

Taking over The Amphitheatre at Roma Street Parklands from the end of November, you can bet the outdoor cinema will be serving up some absolute cracker blockbusters and festive season films, with retro classics like Grease, family flicks like Minions: The Rise Of Gru and Puss In Boots: The Last Wish, and newer flicks like Black Adam, Don't Worry Darling and Ticket To Paradise all on the bill.

In the weeks leading up to Christmas, you can also catch a line up of festive classics, including Love ActuallyElf, Home Alone and Die Hard (don't try telling us Die Hard isn't a Christmas movie). Love Actually under the stars, drink in hand? Sounds like a merry Christmas to us.

As usual, you'll be able to unroll a picnic blanket and throw down a few pillows to relax on with your mates, or go VIP and opt for one of the plush bean bags.  You can even BYO foood, with a licensed bar for cheeky drinks.

Best of all, Moonlight Cinemas is dog-friendly, so you can bring along your fur-baby—this year you can even book them their own dog bean bag, and order up movie snacks from K9 Natural so they can get the full cinema experience.
