Connecting with the very best cheesemakers from all over Australia and bringing them to one centralised location is what MOULD, Brisbane's largest cheese festival, is all about. A collaborative effort between Pinot Palooza’s REVEL and Nick Haddow of the Bruny Island Cheese Co., MOULD is so much more than just a bunch of stalls selling the finest cheeses, their aim is to provide an in-depth cheese experience. Attendees can meet with reps from over twelve different producers and sample over 50 cheeses in the name of garnering a greater appreciation and understanding of the art of cheesemaking.
As well as tastings, MOULD also promises a full food menu of dishes from local cheesemongers. And, naturally, where there is cheese there is wine so there will also be a fully stocked bar for tasting a broad range of wines, whiskies, beers, ciders and sakes. More details are coming so keep tabs on their website for update as they roll out.
Due to overwhelming popularity, most of the morning and afternoon sessions have sold out but you can join the waitlist for the afternoon session that goes from 4pm until 8pm, or keep an eye on the ticket provider for any additional releases.
