There’s nothing to get you out of a midweek funk like news of a three-day cheese festival.

Cheese lovers, get excited because MOULD - A Cheese Festival is returning to Brisbane for three days of cheese, drinks and food in 2021, after having to cancel to their planned 2020 event (though the cancellation did score us home-delivered cheese, which we weren't mad about).

Connecting with the very best cheesemakers from all over Australia and bringing them to one centralised location is what MOULD is all about. So much more than just a bunch of stalls selling the finest cheeses, their aim is to provide an in-depth cheese experience. At the upcoming 2021, socially distanced festival, attendees can meet with reps from a heap of different producers and sample dozens of cheeses in the name of garnering a greater appreciation and understanding of the art of cheesemaking.

As well as tastings, MOULD also promises a full food menu of dishes from local cheesemongers. And, naturally, where there is cheese there is wine so there will also be a fully stocked bar for tasting a broad range of wines, whiskies, beers, ciders and sakes. More details are coming so keep tabs on their website for update as they roll out.

Considering MOULD usually sells out, and that numbers are capped this year to meet social distancing requirements, you'll want to get in early to be sure of getting a ticket. Sessions are already on sale—grab them here
