Hands down, the best souvenir from a night out is a photobooth strip. Nothing beats piling into a booth with your favourite people, waiting for the flash and watching the pics roll out. And for a few dollars? It’s one of the cheapest forms of entertainment going.

From custom booths hidden inside cool bars to dedicated photo studios complete with props, touch-up stations and aesthetic backdrops, Brisbane has no shortage of places to snap a pic. Whether you’re after classic black-and-white strips or colourful frames and stickers, these are the best photobooths in 2026.

Blute's Bar

322 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley

Brisbane’s favourite karaoke haunt has more going for it than late-night singalongs. Tucked inside Blute’s Bar is a vintage-style photobooth serving up branded photo strips to document the night. Warm up your vocal cords, queue your go-to karaoke anthem and hit the dance floor beneath the disco ball before squeezing in for a few photos.

Holey Moley Wintergarden

171-209 Queen Street, Brisbane City

You’re probably heading to Holey Moley for mini golf, cocktails and a little healthy competition, but there’s another reason to stop by. Tucked inside the Wintergarden venue is a vintage photobooth ready for documenting the chaos between rounds. Consider it the perfect chance to capture the evidence before someone starts arguing over the scorecard.

Photo Signature

179 Elizabeth Street, Brisbane City

Bringing South Korea’s photobooth obsession to Brisbane, Photo Signature is home to the city’s first high-angle booth. What’s the difference? Instead of the traditional straight-on setup, the camera shoots from above, creating a more flattering perspective that captures full outfits and fits the entire group in one frame. Inside, you’ll find props galore, a glam touch-up station and themed frames spanning everything from florals to food emojis. Finish things off with karaoke for a fun night out. Oh, and did we mention it’s also pet-friendly?

Pawn & Co

680 Ann Street, Fortitude Valley

Part cocktail bar, part late-night curiosity cabinet, Pawn & Co is packed with eccentric details at every turn—from oversized gramophones to unexpected vintage finds. The Fortitude Valley venue also claims a pretty unique title: everything inside, from the furniture to the decor, is actually for sale. Near the back you’ll find a photobooth framed by black-and-white checkerboard walls and ceilings, with its very own cabinet of trinkets to shop.

Say Cheese

81 Elizabeth Street, Brisbane City

Tucked along Elizabeth Street, Say Cheese is a Korean-style self-photo studio perfect for an easy post-shopping or coffee-date activity. Pull on a pair of novelty sunnies, grab a cowboy hat or raid the prop collection, then customise your layout and frames before stepping in front of the camera. If posing under pressure isn't your strong suit, their Instagram is packed with inspiration.

Summa House

37 McLachlan Street, Fortitude Valley

An open-air bar for long lunches, cocktails and dancing under the sun, Summa House already has all the ingredients for a breezy afternoon out. Now, you can take part of the experience home with you. Nestled inside the venue is a branded photobooth serving up three-photo strips set against Summa’s bold cobalt-blue backdrop. Order a few cocktails, settle in with snacks and share plates, and leave with proof of an arvo well spent.

Family-friendly pub Everton Park Hotel arguably boasts the most stylish photo booth in Brisbane. Designed by Social Booth, the ivy-draped installation features soft striped detailing and gold accents, sitting seamlessly within the beer garden’s polished aesthetic of European umbrellas and a green-tiled bar. It’s a fun add-on to a long lunch or a Sunday sesh, especially when paired with woodfired pizzas, pub classics and an Aperol Spritz in hand.

Empire Hotel

339 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley

There’s something nostalgic about a classic pub photobooth, and Empire Hotel delivers exactly that. Hidden inside the heritage-listed Valley spot, the booth prints traditional four-photo strips made for wallets, fridge doors and rediscovering months later in jacket pockets. Stick around afterwards for pool tables, DJs and late-night dancing—or settle in with burgers, wings and cocktails before calling it a night.

The standout feature, though, is the miniature cut-out photo strips—tiny keepsakes designed to slide into phone cases, wallets and keyrings.

Timezone Garden City

2049 Kessels Road, Upper Mount Gravatt

Swing by Timezone with the whole family for a jam-packed day out. Sure, you’ve got the usual laser tag, bumper cars and flashing arcade games. But did you know there’s also an exclusive Disney-themed photobooth? Choose from themed frames starring everyone from princesses and villains to superheroes for a magical memento.

The heritage-listed venue packs in pinball machines, shuffleboards, darts and a dog-friendly outdoor space. Head upstairs and you’ll also find a shipping container-style photobooth, complete with a blue neon archway, checkerboard flooring and a glitzy gold curtain.

Moon Studios

341 Market Square, Sunnybank

Moon Studios brings a playful Korean-style photobooth experience to Sunnybank with a distinctly kawaii feel. Expect cute props, themed accessories and sticker options to personalise your photo strips. Located in Market Square (right near Yuen’s Market), it’s an easy post-dinner activity after working your way through Sunnybank’s endless lineup of restaurants.

DogTap

77 Metroplex Avenue, Murarrie

Over in Murarrie, BrewDog’s DogTap brewery pairs craft beers with riverside views. The sprawling 420-seat venue serves up 28 taps pouring BrewDog staples alongside rotating local guest brews, plus a menu of classic pub fare to match. You’ll also find the same blue shipping container photobooth here with enough room to fit the entire group—because squeezing everyone into frame is half the fun.

Lefty’s Music Hall

15 Caxton Street, Petrie Terrace

Come to see Brisbane’s biggest live music acts, stay for the photobooth. Lefty’s Music Hall stars a rotating line-up of musicians playing folksy tunes in a saloon-style bar on Caxton Street. Expect antique decor, red walls, taxidermy animals and sultry mood lighting. On the upper mezzanine, a custom-designed photo booth fits the bill with wooden panelling and a rich red curtain marked by a lightbox on top.

You can’t miss the slick photo booth at The Osbourne Hotel. Stationed in the entryway, this Social Booth design pairs a green velvet curtain with brass details to match the sprawling bar and beer garden’s aesthetic. Think a vaulted glass roof ceiling, timber accents and a gorgeous wall of lush plants. Pull up a seat in the open-air yard, order your go-to cocktail and snap a photo for a memorable night out.

Enigma

299 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley

Need a break from the dance floor? On the second floor of Enigma, a neon-lit nightclub in the heart of the Valley, you’ll find a sleek photo booth calling your name. Its vibrant blue entrance, modern light box design and brass trimmings fit right into the club’s aesthetic, inspired by the next-level party scenes of Ibiza, Miami and Vegas. With an LED staircase, resident DJs on the decks and a Boiler Room-style dance floor, this tech house club is sensory overload.
