A Wizard-Themed Putt Putt Course Just Popped Up In South Bank

By

Calling all witches and wizards, this is your moment. Leave the muggles behind and immerse yourselves in a wizarding world where hopefully there will be no need for a patronus or encounters with poltergeists with a knack for chaos.

A magic-filled, wizard-themed putt putt course has popped up in South Bank just in time for summer—think Brisbane’s very own wizarding tournament, but with mini golf (and maybe less disguised Portkeys). Does any magical fan really need more of an excuse to don their robes and whip out their wands?

Inspired by a certain boy wizard and all things fantastical, you can delve into the nine-hole course where only the bravest, smartest and most loyal will make it through unscathed. You don’t need to be the chosen one to fight these challenges, but you will be required to solve riddles that rival a sphinx’s and spend your galleons wisely as you indulge in chilled beverages worthy of the Leaky Cauldron.

Witches and wizards under 18 are welcome before 5pm, making this magic-filled adventure one for the whole family this Christmas. There’s no need to run through any walls or apparate to get to this magical location, the fantasy themed course is located near The Alice Bar and Ice Dream ice creamery near Tribune Street in South Bank.

The course is running from now until Friday 31 December, with tickets just $15pp. Don’t hold back the urge to cast a spell on your enemies as you putt—just avoid any unforgivable curses, we want a nice clean game and no awkward car rides home.
