If fun and free are two concepts you can get behind (and in this economy, who can’t?), you’re going to want to mark your calendars for Ipswich’s latest event, Tunes in Tulmur. The event is being held on Friday, 26 May, at Nicholas Street Precinct and will have live music, food trucks, plus a pop-up bar—the perfect mix of ingredients for a great night out. The entertainment will be headlined by up-and-coming country star Briana Dinsdale, and we promise you don’t need to be a fan of country music to appreciate Dinsdale’s talents.
Tunes in Tulmur will also feature a unique lineup of entertainment that will blow (or should we say glow) your mind, including LED butterflies, viridescent fairies, and juggler jesters with more LEDs than The Ekka on show day. And just in case that wasn’t enough to win you over, there will also be neon games to keep you entertained, including the retro classic snakes and ladders.
If you’re feeling peckish throughout the night Tunes in Tulmur will satisfy your grumbles. Whether you’re fiending for carnival classics like a chip on a stick or pizza, or you’re after something with a little more kick like charcoal grilled Korean BBQ fusion, you’ll find it at the array of food trucks parked up for the night.
The event is a great opportunity to not only enjoy a wholesome night out with friends and family, but a chance to connect with the broader local community. Tunes in Tulmur will showcase the new Nicholas Street Precinct, a destination that has quickly become a must-visit entertainment and cultural hub in the area. So grab your friends and fam and treat them to Ipswich’s brightest night out.
