Get Into The Easter Spirit Early With This Boozy Easter-Inspired High Tea

What if we told you this year that Easter was hanging around for a month? What if there was a place you could go to munch on fancy Easter egg-inspired desserts and hot cross buns with a twist, and then wash them all down with a pot of your favourite tea, or even a martini?

Enter W Brisbane’s Living Room. From Friday 19 March to Sunday 18 April, they will be putting on an eggs-tra special high tea for you and your crew, featuring some pretty scrumptious Aussie Easter classics. We’re talking savoury delights like delicate egg sandwiches with Oscietra Caviar and Aussie meat pies with bush tomato chutney, not to mention three different kinds of local cheese. Then it’s on to the sweet stuff, where the Easter theme really comes out to play with hot cross scones to top with clotted cream and marmalade, mini chocolate raspberry Easter egg nest tarts and spice carrot cake with tropical fruits—sign us up.

Your Easter feast will be presented to you in style (as is the W Hotel trademark) on a W-shaped, multi-tiered tray that looks almost too beautiful to make a mess of by eating all the treats. After you’ve snapped a few photos for the gram (we’ll allow it), you’ll want to get down to business, and all the better if you’re so full you have to roll on out of there afterwards.

Best of all, should you want to make your high tea boozy, you can add on a Mezzo Mezzo Martini or a Strawberry Sour, or a glass of champagne if you’re feeling swanky.

Prices for this fancy Easter degustation start at just $55pp, with addition of a cocktail or glass of champagne $69pp and $79pp respectively, and you can book your spot here.
