2026 will officially be off to a bangin’ start with Wildlands Festival announcing its return to Brisbane and Perth this summer. Back with its signature single-day event, the festival will be popping up on both coasts with an open-air dancefloor fuelled by thumping beats and high voltage action.
In big news for Queensland, Wildlands won’t be counting down to the new year in Brisbane—swapping its iconic New Year’s Eve slot for New Year’s Day to guarantee your opening act of 2026 is a winner. As for Perth, the festival will return stronger than ever on 3 January, with both instalments featuring an all-new 360-degree stage experience and raised dancefloors to immerse you in the festival fever.
Who’s headlining Wildlands Festival 2026?
The colossal roster is headlined by Grammy-nominated house legend Dom Dolla who’s had a record-breaking year that’s seen him perform two sold-out Madison Square Gardens shows, ignite crowds at Lollapalooza, and launch a 10-week Ibiza residency.
Joining him is viral songstress Addison Rae, right off the back of her acclaimed debut album which has delivered hits (and backtracks to your favourite TikTok trends) like Diet Pepsi, Headphones On and Aquamarine.
Plus, in landmark news, Kid Cudi will be making his first Australian appearance in over a decade on the Wildlands stage, proving exactly why he’s considered one of alternative hip-hop’s most visionary forces.
The absolutely stacked lineup also features Chris Stussy, KETTAMA, Luude, 070 Shake, Balu Brigada, Cassian, Channel Tres, Fcuckers, Miss Kaninanna, NOTION, simOne and more. It’s a world-class showcase of global pop icons, dance music powerhouses and the next-biggest acts—get set to go wild.
But wait, what about Adelaide?
In early August, the Wildlands team did break the news that they won’t be returning to South Australia—following three years of bringing the goods to Adelaide. According to an Instagram post, the call was made because “the landscape has shifted, and the viability of delivering the event at the standard we hold ourselves to simply isn’t possible this season.”
