Mark the first weekend of March 2021 in your calendar music lovers, because Wildlands music festival is officially coming back this summer and it’s got a few of the biggest names in the business on the line up.

If you managed to get to Wildlands last year for its inaugural tour, you’ll know that this epic festival is a day of immersive music and arts escapism like no other. Created by the team behind Beyond The Valley in Victoria and the crew who put on Origin Fields, the sold out 2019 event looked to be an instant staple of the summer festival scene—and then a little thing called COVID-19 happened.

Luckily for us, with restrictions easing and borders opening, the festival organisers are feeling confident enough to announce its return, this time spreading out the fun over two days due to capacity limitations. Heading for the Brisbane Showgrounds once again, Wildlands will take place over Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 March, joining an ever-growing list of festivals and music events that are making their return and breathing some life back into Australia’s music and entertainment industry.

The full line-up has already been announced and it’s enough to get us wanting to snap up tickets already. Headlining is one of Australia’s best homegrown electronic music producers, Golden Features, who has been making waves since landing on the scene in 2014, dropping his debut album in 2018.

The rest of the bill is packed full of homegrown talent who are spread out over two days on the single stage, including The Veronicas, Lime Cordial, Cosmo's Midnight, Chillinit, Safia, Eves Karadys and Willaris K. Basically, it’s time to clear your calendar and prep for one massive weekend of music.
