Ooh La La
Thanks to Brisbane's near perfect weather, which makes outdoor drinking a total vibe, we all join in on a collective cheer every time a new rooftop bar opens. So let us introduce you to Ooh La La, the newest rooftop spot to add to your weekend repertoire. Perched atop C’est Bon Restaurant and Bar in Woolloongabba, it's the newest addition (opening Friday 9 July) to the crowd favourite French restaurant, and is worth a trip whether you're having dinner downstairs or not.
Enter via the rear laneway and take the steps a few levels up where you’ll find the luxe venue in the heart of the heritage area of Woolloongabba. With views over the surrounding streets and a relaxed, monochrome fit-out, it's the perfect spot for post-work drinks, date night and even a bite-sized French feed.
You'll find a solid round up of sophisticated nibbles and larger plates on the menu, including fromage and charcuterie, blini caviar sets, duck liver parfait eclairs, confit suckling pig terrine and kingfish crudo. We dare say you can eat your fill up here, but you can always head down to the main restaurant if you need a little more.
The drinks list is also sure to impress. We’ve got our eye on one of Ooh La La’s signature cocktails, the ‘La Gazelle’, with rhum, passionfruit and Falernum, but you might prefer to peruse their selection for French and Australian wines. Ooh La La has brought a little slice of Paris to our backyard and you should definitely make your way up to the rooftop soon.
