The elegance and intricacy of French dining meets the relaxed and airy energy of Brisbane Rise—the two-fold concept on the waterfront.
You’re probably already familiar with Rise Bakery, which brings in the crowds on the daily for their beautiful pastries, signature cakes and hearty brunches at Newstead's Breakfast Creek Lifestyle Precinct. And while that continues to be the offering by day, now the beautiful spot will be serving up French-inspired dinners by night.
Rise Le Restaurant will transform the venue after-dark into a refined and intimate destination where French techniques and local Australian produce shine. Led by Simon Palmer (previous E’cco Bistro), the menu features generous seafood and meat-led banquets, alongside a selection of a la carte dishes and a bar menu. From lobster baked orzo to wagyu tartare tartlets and beef cheek bourguignon, this flavourful experience is full of je ne sais quoi.
Rise Le Restaurant will take over Rise Bakery on evenings from Wednesday to Saturday and for long lunches until 6pm on Sundays. Perfect for fans of their sibling restaurant Mademoiselle which recently closed, we recommend swinging by on Fridays and Saturdays—when live jazz and acoustic music will set the tone for a dining experience very well spent.
