The team behind Australia’s #1 wellness medispa are bringing their passion for nutrition to a brand-new concept: a Turkish cafe at Function Well’s upcoming luxury hub in West End

Kristy Morris (co-founder of KAILO) and her husband Dr Oz Dedahayir are behind KAILO Nutrition, and will be channeling their expertise and heritage into Sureyya Kahve. The name comes from Dedahayir’s late grandmother, whose legacy will be upheld in Sureyya Kahve’s offering.

“I’ve been having such a wonderful time experimenting with recipes from my grandmother’s cookbook, learning to make her Turkish-inspired desserts and the classic Turkish-style breakfast, plus discovering the rich history behind Turkey’s deep connection to coffee,” said Dedahayir.

The cafe is a natural extension of KAILO and Function Well’s long-held partnership, with nourishment a key factor on the menu across high quality and nutrient dense meals, healthy salads and protein-packed smoothies.

“While the cafe does take inspiration from Turkish cuisine, it really will embrace a modern, wellness-centric approach to dining, priding ourselves with delivering the utmost level of service,” said Morris.

“Sureyya will be a hub for community and connection, and I am so excited to really get creative in the kitchen. Think smoothies named after our key ambassadors, the best and brightest salads to fuel you and most importantly, the coffee—we have teamed up with Australia’s best coffee house, St.Ali.”

Sureyya Kahve is set to open late April this year.
