Ready for a month-long festival of food and wine that will blow the socks off your tastebuds? Dine BNE City is back, and it’s packing more flavour than ever. 

In case you missed it, Dine BNE City is the foodie event of the year. Throughout June, the restaurants and bars of Brisbane City will unite to serve food lovers with a procession of delicious flavours. We’re talking lunch deals, supper clubs, bar safaris, and special events championing the very best food and drink that Brisbane has to offer.

FIRESIDE: Food & Wine

For those still questioning what this month is all about, FIRESIDE: Food & Wine holds the answers. This decadent event is the grand opening of Dine BNE City, inviting you into the starlight to indulge in bespoke bites, sensational sips and a warm, glowing atmosphere. The ticket price includes all food and drinks on offer, so simply show up to a welcome cocktail and spend your evening sampling signature dishes from some of Brisbane’s most iconic eateries.

Saturday Winter Roast

Saturday Winter Roast at Walter's Steakhouse

Straight out of the gate, Walter’s Steakhouse is bringing us the goods in the form of a classic Saturday Winter Roast. Alongside their legendary cocktails and impressive wine menu, you’ll be treated to a banquet of Yorkshire puddings, grandad’s potatoes, creamed spinach, Brussels sprouts topped with pancetta, roasted veg, and pan gravy to tie it all together. The star of the show will, of course, be the slow-roasted Angus rib fillet, bringing a whole new level of tenderness and flavour to the concept of the classic weekend roast. Salivating yet? Book your tickets fast because this is on the menu for one night only.

Party In The Jungle

Dine BNE City is about more than just quality bites. To experience the wild side of the foodie festival, head to Gather Bistro’s Party In The Jungle. You’ll be greeted with their full spritz menu, espresso martinis, natural wines, local beers, nibbles, bar snacks, and a live DJ to keep up the vibe.

Pinot & Truffle Dinner

Pinot & Truffle Dinner at Banc Brasserie

Banc Brasserie’s Pinot & Truffle Dinner is the perfect bookend to your month of exceptional dining experiences. Expect canapés followed by a seated, four-course set menu, all paired with perfectly matched Tasmanian wine. While they’re keeping the menu close to their chest, the hero of each dish will be mouth-watering truffle infusions. Book now, indulge later.

Customs House Winter Pop-Up

 Customs House winter pop-up, Veuve Clicquot in the Snow.

Back again with the ever-iconic igloo hangouts is the Customs House winter pop-up, Veuve Clicquot in the Snow. If you’ve never been, think Aspen vibes with a view of the Brisbane River. Taking place from Thursday to Sunday throughout June, this is the ideal ‘snowy’ setting to take in the winter feels. Sip champagne and graze on a delicious menu—we recommend the Moreton Bay Bug croissant and baked, whole Brie. If you’re organising a post-work igloo-hang, be sure you book ahead.

Cena di Famiglia With Guy Grossi And Alessandro Pizzolato

Shining our light back on the foodie events, Cena di Famiglia will bring an utterly delicious celebration of Italian food and food culture to Settimo. Chef Alessandro Pizzolato will be teaming up with Guy Grossi to serve a family-style menu of Italian classics, plus matched wines. This event is taking place over two nights only, so book fast if you don’t want to miss out on an evening of authentic yet inventive Italian flavours.

Exclusive Meet The Maker Wine Tasting

For those who love a good drop, taste the local flavours of City Winery at this exclusive Meet The Maker Tasting while you learn all about the process from the winemaker himself, Dave Cush. Discover the story behind each sip while you graze on cheese and charcuterie and meet fellow wine enthusiasts. Book fast, this exclusive event is on for two nights only this June.

Wine Dinners To Remember

The only thing better than a custom, five-course dinner on a winter night is one paired perfectly with wine. On 7 June, Tillerman and Craggy Range Wine are coming together to bring you a decadent feast with wines to match. Think premium seafood with a reimagined spin. If dumplings and duck are more your palate, don't miss Madame Wu's bespoke offering on 28 June. Five mouthwatering courses will be paired with five exceptional glasses of Coldstream Hills wine. Nab your tickets now, as capacities are limited.

Urban Wine Walk: The City Encore

Last but certainly not least, we have the exercise of choice for the wine lovers of Brisbane, Urban Wine Walk: The City Encore. Embark on a delicious journey as you follow the self-guided wine trail through the urban cellar doors of Brisbane City, tasting an impressive lineup of Aussie drops along the way. Not only will your tickets include complimentary tastings from nine local winemakers, but you’ll also get a voucher to spend on a meal in a venue of your choice and a tasting glass to take on your adventure.
