Roaring fires, goblets of mulled wine and feasts fit for royalty to gorge on. Pig 'N' Whistle
3 Oracle Blvd, Broadbeach QLD 4218

The first Gold Coast edition of Brisbane's beloved Pig 'N' Whistle is fresh on the scene in 2026. It recently took over the Lucky Squire locale in downtown Broadbeach, and if you've frequented that corner spot, you'll know it's a dream place for people-watching.

Hearty meals that hail from British cuisine, a sprawling indoor-outdoor eatery and heaving live sport scene, my pick's a table perched on the first floor. The Great British Sunday takes over tabletops in Broadbeach every week.

The Details

  • Every Sunday from 11am
  • Roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, mixed vegetables and gravy
  • $29 per person

The Yorkie Rippa serves modern eatery, with classic English touches at the end of the Nobby Beach drag. There are sun-soaked chairs by the window, hideaway cottagecore nooks and crockery hung above the pass. It's adorable.

They've put the call out to see is Sunday roasts between 4pm and 6pm would be something the locals are into. And with enough interest, it could be Mermaid's answer to wholesome weekend enders with a side of English nosh. In the meantime, choose their Open Yorkie on your next visit. There's also an adorable mini option for a neat $19.

I was genuinely shooketh when I saw the value on offer at Cora's Sunday roast deal. It's got to be the biggest plate of quality meat, towering roast vegetables and it comes with a full jug of gravy to yourself. A little bonus is the complimentary fresh bread roll to kick it all off.

The chic interiors at Cora could lure you in for a weekly catchup and dining experience that's one of the most competitively priced for what you get. Plus, there's a rare feature of a fully vegan roast made with hearty cashews, lentils and sweet potato making it an ideal catchup locale for groups with varied dietary needs.

Red's Kitchen pulls out all the stops with their weekend roast special. It's an impressive MB8+ Wagyu Flat Iron that's thinly sliced and doused in gravy. Plated up with farmstyle carrots, broccolini and a side of Yorkshire, it's one of the more specialty deals on the Gold Coast.

This waterfront locale pulls crowds of foodie fiends and Sundays are no different. Be sure to book in advance for prime seating.

COAST

1/86 Esplanade, Surfers Paradise QLD 4217

Beach bars aren't notoriously known for their Sunday roasts, but then again there's nothing ordinary about COAST. It sits pretty above Surfers Paradise's beachfront, and is a top contender for Surfers' most impressive dining experience in my opinion. $15 Aperol Spritzes simply sweeten the deal.

The Sunday roast here brings something new to the scene with a rare sighting of white gravy. Yes, they still call it gravy at COAST and you will find it pooling beside some of the crispiest roast potatoes with rosemary on the whole of the Gold Coast.

The Details

  • Every Sunday, from 12noon
  • Slow roasted beef, charred cabbage, carrots, Yorkshire puddings, wagyu fat garlic and rosemary potatoes and gravy
  • $40 per person

Ember

8-10 Welch Street, Southport QLD 4215

Southport's own Fire Baby is the moody Italian loft that opened in 2025. Downstairs, Ember's the second addition to the slashy building. It's all about tender meats, succulent beef cuts and housemade sides that deliver big on comfort.

As a wintertime feature, they offer one of the more refined Sunday roasts on the Gold Coast and it's my pick for date night. Adjoining smokehouse Hicksville opened right next door in early June 2026. Make it your personal to check them both out on your next visit.

The Details

  • Every Sunday, 12noon - 2.45pm
  • Roast (rotates weekly, from pork with crackling, to charcoal chicken), duckfat potatoes, garlic doused greens and gravy pot
  • $40 per person

Garden Kitchen & Bar

1 Casino Dr, Broadbeach QLD 4218

I've spent many a Sunday overlooking the lawn at Garden Kitchen & Bar. And what I love most is that there's a little nook, stretching table or cosy booth to suit basically any occasion. So let the gourmet roast for two be a top consideration for your next visit to Garden.

This roast special sells out, that's how beloved it is. And it's designed for pairs, but if you devour the lot yourself, no judgement here.

The Details

  • Weekends 12noon - 3pm
  • Darling Downs roast beef served with seasonal roast vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and housemade gravy
  • $79 for two people
