The Grampians are home to some of the most scenic panoramic views, trails, waterfalls, and wildlife, so there’s no better place to spend your upcoming getaway. However, if camping out in the bush isn’t your thing, don’t stress because we’ve got you covered with some absolutely stellar Airbnbs right near the town of Halls Gap, aka the perfect base to do all your exploring from.

Keep reading for our top picks for Airbnbs near the Grampians National Park for 2023:

The Escarpment

HALLS GAP

The backyard of The Escarpment is literally the national park itself, so consider yourself sorted for location. There’s a balcony out front that overlooks the treetops, as well as a hanging egg chair to nestle yourself in with a good book. This cosy, clean and peaceful location is right next to wildlife, you may even see an echidna or an emu during your stay.

Nook On The Hill

POMONAL

A luxury tiny home, made and built sustainably by the host, at the foothill of the Grampian ranges. Say less. A cosy, compact little space, they didn’t skimp out on the aesthetics for this one - the gorgeous outdoor bathtub is just the starting point. A complimentary hamper awaits you, with an assortment of local goods including Blue Wren Bakery bread, spreads from Five Ducks Farm and two bottles of Pomonal Estate Wine. Nook On The Hill is the perfect romantic location to unwind and relax.

Bush Lodge

HALLS GAP

Bush Lodge is the ideal space to snuggle up on a wintery night. This gorgeous spot is nestled among plenty of Acacia trees, so you’re completely immersed in nature. Of course, since you’re planted on a foresty hillside, you’re going to see and hear plenty of kookaburras, cockatoos, magpies and rosellas on the balcony each morning, so no need to set an alarm clock. The big leather sofa is parked right in front of a fireplace, so get ready to get cosy. There’s also a hot tub for soaking in after a long day trekking around.

Awonga Cabins

HALLS GAP

This cute little set of cabins is only 1.3kms from Main Street in Halls Gaps, so you’ve got the perfect location sorted for your getaway. There are six cabins on the one block so you can book multiple if youre going with a larger group, as well as a firepit out back to warm yourself up on a cold winters night. Come morning, don’t be too surprised to see cockatoos and kangaroos out front, they’re frequent visitors. This place is not super frilly, but it’s a great base camp for all your Grampian adventures.

Ant's House

HALLS GAP

This one is perfect to take the whole family to, considering its part of Quamby Farm. There are always heaps of organic herbs for you to cook up a storm with, as well as seasonal fresh fruit from the trees, and the possibility of free-range eggs if the chooks are feeling particularly generous. There are plenty of walks accessible from Ant’s House, and it’s so cosy, you may just want to stay an extra night or two.

Jimmara House

HALLS GAP

Chic and modern, this is for those who want to live a little more luxuriously. Jimmara House is right behind the main street of Halls Gap, but don’t worry, you still have mountain views to gaze upon. With a large outdoor decking area for alfresco dining, brand-new appliances will make cooking up a storm a breeze, plus it’s north facing so you’ll get sun year round. There’s also BBQ on the deck and outdoor games, including giant Jenga and Bocce.

Janaza Boutique Retreat

HALLS GAP

The Janaza Boutique Retreat is the secluded getaway of your dreams, as there’s nothing like waking up to a forest on your doorstep. Since you’re safely encased with the treetops, it’s completely private, and pets are even welcome to join your holiday. The brewery isn’t too far if you’re craving a pint, but the Grampians are right at your fingertips too.

Farm in Grampians

POMONAL

This Farm in the Grampians is the quintessential cottage-core experience you ever hope to have in Victoria. Homemade bread, farm eggs, and mulberry jam are available for breakfast, and you’ve got access to 500 acres of farm and bushland. If you’re lucky, you’ll get to see some pretty spectacular sunsets while you’re parked in front of the outdoor fire pit.

Blue Wren Lodge

HALLS GAP

Warm and chic, the Blue Wren Lodge is perfect for couples looking for a romantic escape. Only 300 metres from the centre of Halls Gap, you’re close to the action without it being too loud.
